The Co-op: ” ii was flying and hit something in the air…..” Black Sabbath. (UPDATED… AGAIN)

Stories always start out with…..” Everything was fine then all of a sudden……”.  As you will see it happens to me too!

So I bugged out this morning locked and loaded to roll .Thought of everything I could check….after all JayGee gets only the road time I do or less so here we go and you new or wannabe owners I tell you it goes like this, put your big boy or gal pants and prepare for it all.

Oh we are quite the sight JayGee dragging Ralph with that funky motorbike stuffed in between.….and with something like this staring back at you as you let the world roll at 60mph .Hey, THIS is something I don’t get to do much and want more of it!…..

There’s a Race-Trac at the Harleys museum ecot I try to patronize when I go up I-75…….you will always see some out of the ordinary set of wheels.  This time there was only a huge 5th wheel drag trailer wedding itself on the end of the island.  I pulled in and immediately felt the stare of eyeballs .

BTW, I do still have some cool stuff on Ruby so it’s all good Cedric, Jared and they guys are on that cake!  It will be what it will be and all of you guys can really make some good first person decisions……That’s our target this time ” to be able to see the  outline of the shape in that 1 cloud”.

You’ll see soon why I’ve come up with all of this new time to sit on my phone with 1 finger and plunk this out which brings us back to heading to Georgia with JayGee and Ralph…..sounds like a line from Deliverance……

So yeah, some hawkers came over from that trailers…..2 bearded an 3 with Pug goggles…….Man, another great place to stop with a GMC on the road…

So a belly full of Coke and peanuts the tremendous trio hit the highway…. You KNOW I had the ass of the coach high…..us red necks always bought looking shackles…..buts that’s another past nightmare but it worked, we looked good so now it was time for ” Travel Mode”….Warp factor 2 there Scotty and on til dawn…….”

“Everything was fine and I was in the tunnel…….”  Then, just like that I saw my vacuum drop on my FiTech readout!  Holy Crap Bat Man….. Its the Riddler!…..

The vacuum modulator shifter me to 2nd…….2 cars now past me blowing their horns……. As in Apollo 13. “CapCom…we have a situation! …Over!

As I’m getting ready to teach fore safety the question ” Chances are that guy passing you beeping is not your High Scool buddy wanting to talk…..PULL OVER! so I did…..I literally grabbed the SS20 there in the bicycle water bottle bracket at my door as a bailed out with my keys in my hand!  DO THAT!

Well, didn’t drop and roll but I put JayGee to a stop fast, level, off the road and not in the grass….. It just happened.

No flames…no smoke but a long stop of black rubber leading to the rr tire on JayGee……there was some smoke coming out the wheel well there, put my glasses on and this is what I found….

Hey…if you need intermission here, in off beer for now but grab a Stone for me.

No….Ok, I can no longer say this never happened to me!

Let me add to this novel tonight…..made it to Pine Mountain …..during the night……..spoils my plot a bit in that we prevailed but I still think you Wil lol on what happened.  So here we are, a chilly morning, first time this year I’m wearing a jacket…..My talk is at 11am today so come by….if you get lost in the middle of nowhere !

Talk to ya later

So yeah, I lived through yesterday…..as I was saying before life interrupted was I bailed out of the coach.. my SS20 grabbed as I ran to the ditch along the Interstate…..turned around to see my Dr wheel on Ralph having troubles there smoking like a burned piece of Spam..Yup, now I can say it happened to me…..could have been so much worse…but still there I was. WITH THOSE ANTS digging through my tools and then the thought came…what about my spare?  Ever had a feeling like that?  It was original, never touched the ground…still had its nubbies….and it had air!  Swapped that puppy out and told it just roll baby roll!  Pulling into Gainesville, found a tire store…a new tire AND new spare and I hit the road again.…timeline yanked apart there’s no need to hurry now!  Lets enjoy the ride at 60mph or less.  Set the dial on the Rach to 60mph so now all you do is stay close to the needle and life is good…what speed? Under 2600mph.  Why do that?  As you can see my junker speedometer quit!   See…using old stuff never pays!   I stopped at every rest area leapfrogging my way along putting me into Pine Mountain around 10pm.And you know up to now.   I’m hunkered down in the display area…..don’t need no stinkin power!   3 good batteries(could be)….full of water and propane, empty holding tank and besides that I’m sleepy.  I wanted to finish this post….got pretty long and I think move along.

I am enjoying every minute of the trip….blow out and all….they have a pretty good npr signal up here so I’m closing this Pandora box…..Jared and the guys are working hard….the interior bulkhead cabinets are coming together.…thanks for coming with me on this one……..every trip is an adventure………ill b back soon….stay tuned

Oh..and Marco…..we have your motor and trans out!  nasty! GSor a double roller chain though…..this motor is getting a try at survival…….stay tuned for that…See you guys…..so much happening, thanks for hanging out with us
