The reality is there are more of them than us down here… folks Get hunting tags and use the meat and their hides for many things. I went hunting this weekend… Bagged 2 of the reptiles!….both were Nauga-gators. They group together in rolls. Bagged a black and brown one. What to do with those hides?
Looks great on my dash. A tough hide to stretch but it gave me something to do this weekend ..The bezel is an old Mac dash takeout, gauges I had laying around, FiTech readout panel, double DIN radio and a black leather wrapped (cow hide) lower spoke wheel….yes that’s a trucker ball on the wheel. No doubt I’m in Florida…hey, why not!
Doing a fire safety talk for the WOG (Wonderlodge owners group) in Georgia next week. Driving JayGee, got the Onan Troll going, motor checked out, air ride got new fitting, got rid of those §μ¬ГΩ￦¥¿¡^ press-lock fittings. Ready for some seat time. Stop by if you’re closeby.
How bout “Tin Soldier” with gloss textured black epoxy paint…..I’d say a 10 grit finish..stay tuned for this one! ..See ya tomorrow..
Figured I probably surprised some I actually posted yesterday so doing a new one might be confusing.
The WOG rally is at Pine Mountain Ga. at of course the Pine Mountain Resort. If you would like to hear why you have your well being at risk not having any form of fare measures in your coach….and one of those stupid little red Kiddy dry powder fake extinguishers does not count. BTW, those things have been recalled, why….because they do not work!
You need a foam auto-deploy system …..at least a few foam hand held to at least fight your way to safety. If you do not believe this you probably think the earth is flat too!
You can argue all day on tires, oil and rear air ride suspensions but protecting yourself and your coach from fire…..COME ON!
WWW.FIREFIGHTPRODUCTS.COM was nor designed by me so if you think I’m a blowhard look at it as doing it for yourself. Yes, I own the company and will probably never make a dime from it…..all of us need this stuff and that’s why we keep the company alive. Yes, we do need your help for sales but protecting your coach and you from fire is about YOU!
We now have 4 motors in 2 different machine shops trying to keep up. Last week there were a couple more coaches loose motors….there must be something in the water……. Probably not but it stands to reason a coach sits sometimes a while looking for a new owner. You buy it and well, it’s probably been waiting to dump…..if it sits more than a year the shaft seal in the water pump is hardened for sure…who knows what else time does.
I got JayGee’s generator going after a year of sitting…..I never get to drive my stuff…..it’s dripping oil now! Dough…. Sitting in 1 place long enough wheel bearing grease will ooze down off the bearings forming light rust, now you drive it and contaminate your grease…….bearing failure is next. Hey, I’m not making this stuff up….we fI’d those things all the time. Tires…5 years because your plastic (SMC) BODY will take a hit if a tire blows.
So do yourself and your coach a favor and don’t let it sit. I got JayGee out this weekend and slept in it in the driveway to see what wanted to fail for me…several things did and I just got posses at the dash how bad it looked and well gator stuff happened . They’ll know we’re from Florida…..or mAybe Louisiana!
Heard Jare’s truck pull up so the day is on. See ya tomorrow and thanks for the visit
Get a fire system!
