Yesterday was filled with finishing up small projects, having those coaches ready for those locals to have their “escape option” available and hunkering down for the rest of us. Have no worries if you have a coach here, we have good north-south protection, no trees to fall and 600 amps 0f power just in case… Reinforced concrete walls, roof, beams and columns with windows 6′ high. Good to go boys, now pick a palm tree to strap to and we’ll see ya on the other side….. Hey, it won’t be that bad I feel mainly because we are prepared for it. Yes, we are under a hurricane watch as of now and the eye has moved 50 miles closer to the east coast… not what we want it to do but hey, we’re ready.
Last time, even with huge threatening trees we fared well with the north-south wall barriers Note the blue electric scooter there that I used to get back and forth while all the roads were closed. We went 10 days then with no power with the eye passing right over us. We lost 25% of the tree canopy that time so this should be OK.
We got JC to make extra trips hauling the loose scrap away We’ll have to strap down the tarp over Miss Piggy to keep that Unobtanium safe
Hey, that’s good stuff under there!
OK, need to go… I’ll post tomorrow… see ya then….
WAIT… I have one more pic for Bruse B. , ….. stand by.
This is Mc McNeal’s 3rd and newest dash set up A hard textured forward surface with the back padded. Softer angles and till ab to accommodate a double DIN radio. May fit in your design… may not but still, it’s a great option. See ya tomorrow
