………Yes folks, it was truly a match made in heaven…….it was one drive and the decision to adopt was made…….makes me feel good to see this creation to make the previous owners smile and now more smiles will be made. Another half price purchase…….you can’t find anything like THAT even on black Friday! I’m not ashamed to tell you it would cost twice as much to build another coach like this for twice the money that changed hands………. I’m growing a prospective GMC owner now showing how he can get what he’s looking for. I have to tell us fellas that the way many of you are heading your search is all wrong. Its not about a spread sheet on all that the previous owner did and add to it……..guys if you flush every verb today remember this……..just because some part was replaced does not mean its OK! Think about it, its about what is standing there in front of u…..right then. If I do a mechanical evaluation on an intake project….if there are records I do look through them to see what parts to suspect first…..those parts! Then all the rest and if I don’t have records in still suspecting everything because who knows the condition of ANYTHING! Both projects get the same scrutiny….it does say though someone took time out of their lives to keep track of all that so pay homage to it for sure but it all has to go on the suspect list anyway.
A good example is our next mechanical project coming in from the Q. This is a late model Royale forward galley that was purchased from an RV dealer with no recordsEven in the streetlight…..still dark out here….but even in bad light you can see someone took care and threw cash at it over the decades and probably loved it as their own. Its mechanical review showed that so this project will need less to get her back on the road……this project is a step process meaning step 1 is for us to get it safe back to the road. Its not going to be a soup to nuts Dino Rocket…..just something that will go. Stay tuned to watch, its coming up.
- Still another similar project is coming down off the jacks
This coaches story is different but are still going through the same process. This machine was put into mothballs on purpose in that knowing they loved the machine the world keeps throwing spitballs and the family could not support the coach at that time. Many will sell the coach and move on….these folks knew what they had and one day again they would ride! Their mechanical review showed many components with similar wear……some could be reused while others had to go. Another step project our goal is to bring the ole girl out of hibernation……soon she will breath again.
- So what can I tell ya….I pushed some button on my phone so now its placing a bullet before each sentence……yeah I could shorten my life a little and figure it out……..it will fix tomorrow so each time you see a bullet know I just put out a cuss word! Just wanted to give you a little drama here on the other side of the screen……can’t stop……keep plunking……
- ¤Ω¬¬¡^]]<<, …….. 2 ofum….really? Whatever…… what I’m meaning to point out is the work needed is not based on any previous paperwork rather what is found in a mechanical looksee. Also both of these coach projects are not “soup to nuts” like Baby Blue here getting a few more things before its deemed the rocketship we all know it can be
That’s it……it’s about getting them back on the road…..in some reliable condition……you may call this beauty like the wingnut that owned it (I can say that)
or is this more your taste
Yep and they are all here together
and we love them all 💘……Lets take the time to bring these back to the road well. See ya tomorrow
