The Co-op, another Friday, St. Patricks Day makes it better

Beth’s had a party last night and another one this evening, a good lead in to the weekend.  Another clear, chilly morning so bikers… I rode in on the bike for you…

Other more meaningful news….. 3.17.17 morning 5  This morning Fandango is getting it’s mechanical love.  The winged thunder on the lift has lose it’s backwards waterpump serpentine belt system in favor of the original 3 belt system and actually this morning is off the lift with the owners moving back in as we speak.  Operation successful doctor, thank you….

JD is settling in over at paint3.17.17 morning 15 but because of the weather we could not shoot.. of course next week it will be better so Andy’s “Rock the Alps” will get it’s colors then  3.17.17 morning 14  With these before building dwellers gone, the big house is taking on it’s new compliment of patients  3.17.17 morning 13.This very original 73 model comes in for a full mechanicals workup, Getting the bumpers back from our chrome wizard  We’re installing them now 3.17.17 morning 8

We have a couple of these small projects we’re knocking out before jumping into Ruby.  We backpaint the bumpers to help keep the chrome covered and safe in the back 3.17.17 morning 3  On, you can see what all the fuss is about 3.17.17 morning 2

Now THAT is a chrome bumper!

Off the lift now the guys can get back at interior work on Ross’s coach.  Here is the main cut out of solid surface material for their galley counter 3.17.17 morning 6

Danavan and Hans cuts the lip with a carbide blade 3.17.17 morning 11

You know how they say “measure twice, cut once” with solid surface there can be NO mistakes so modify that one to say “Measure 3 times, cut once then go take a break”!

Not a kit, here is a period correct seat cover made by scratch by out upholster

3.17.17 morning 16  The guy is amazing… it’s great to have someone here like that!

So you might ask, “why did you cut a square out of JD’s driver front hood?”.  Well that’s simple, the previous owner … along with about every doodad known to the GMC world the coach was fitted with one of those wrong… high dollar brake master cylinder that requised a cut out in the hood .3.17.17 morning 1  We took that out and that pimple wasn’t necessary 3.17.17 morning 4  Another one of those “great ideas” of the day.

So as you see, it’s all goin on round hea…… May do a day at Daytona this weekend… if it warms up a bit but first we need to make this Friday count… no parties at noon… lets bust another day guys.  OK you ants, lets get up on that cake and tear it up!  We’ll see ya later… this my not be pretty!  Thanks for dropping by….
