the coach was fitted with a 3″ exhaust system with a single rear mounted muffler that needed to be replaced. Hey, a nice coach for sure and its owners are driving the wheels off.
Congrats to a new steward for the “Gator Coach” as its been called around hereThe Gator here is coming off and today, the new owner is coming for a spin around the block before we begin the updating. Moving back down the complexity ladder, he’s maintained a Blue Bird. “Wannderlodge” coach for many years…..a GMC is cake for this seasoned roadman…….there are many doing this very thing…….at one time that 3rd world country on wheels itched a scratch but now, less involved, more simply traveling has its appeal ……a GMC is perfect for that situation. Its still……”fuel and fire and she fires”. There’s alote of confidence for many people to understand the log they’re riding and how to get the most out of the machine.
Its really what drives our business, kinda stinks but any serious class A RV will need an investment or loan of $100,000 and up. Its just true. To say GMC’s are always cheaper isn’t fair because most may need some work but you can do a pile of restoration work for that money to build a custom, classic, one of a kind road rocket. THAT is our business! A restoration project on a 45 year old vehicle can be involved…..ya think!……. and the how much is that sometimes sets in but remember, when they built your house did you anguish over the main roof beam……it had to be purchased, sized, finished and installed. Its just one part of the project so relax and enjoy the ride……….. For those of you never experiencing a comprehensive renovation of their coach that’s it. Its a process from beginning to end up with the machine you always in re w it could be.
Oops, Jared’s truck just rolled in…..much to discuss and do…..see ya later
