……… I’m taking a risk of boring all you GMCers with this and there are so many other things going on with the GMC’s we also have other projects in here……and I’m not talking about the basket case AC Cobra kit car we took in……..haven’t even TOUCHED that can-o-worms……. this Airstream trailer is taking shape
we’ve chemically stripped off the coating Airstream originally put on the exterior and etched the aluminum back to a mil finish on the original and new metal
nit being an exhibitionist, the back window was taken out for an extended bumper and possible vertical storage
this platform will hold a generator and whatever else is decided to do with the space. The tongue was extended 12 inches for a better tow with a storage box up there too.
No propane, with the generator out back this is an all electric living center…… Looking the jealousy window at the front opening all the windows are the same size….never seen that!
that stainless steel bumper storage thing is kinda different too! The interior is all new epoxy textured with a live edge galley counter
……. Covered “Euro” sink, new floor first then the hardwood floor you see.
Its not a GMC but it’s cool and the guys are doing a super job.
