The Co-op: 7 hours seat time in 2 coaches is enough

I had told you what I was building up to for Sunday……..a delivery and a pick-up and a good drive to make it all happen…..what none of us could have scheduled was the weather.  I see this as a testament to these coaches…that I could do this and not kill myself.

Sunday morning early flipping the lights on in the big house Baby Blue was waiting to go home  5.21.18 morning 8  The plan is to drive Baby Blue north to I-10 and I-75 and meet up at 1pm.  Hey…no problem  …..except for the weather……it wasn’t raining cats and dogs, it was more like lions, tigers and bears!  5.21.18 morning 6  I stopped at every rest area, drove 55 and just took it easy……..the fresh roller cam motor and trans ran like a top  5.21.18 morning 7  Getting there a little early I took a nap….something you can do when you have your bed with you in a motorhome.  Sorry, it was raining so hard and wanting to get the rest of the run over I forgot to take pics when we all met.  Take it from me it happened, dropped off Baby Blue and now the job was to ride Fandango back to the shop  5.21.18 morning 4  Man, I had forgotten how nice Fandango is…….what another great drive!  5.21.18 morning 3  The dash AC compressor belt was on the loose side so firing up the EV-4010 Honda generator I was frost cool from the 15000btu Carrier roof AC…so nice.  Good thing I was driving a GMC….rain, slippery roads, crazy trucks seeming they had a death wish with their driving………look, there is no way a GMC should be driven at the highway speeds the truckers feel is their job.  Forget that, kick back….drive 60 and enjoy the ride…..even with the crappy weather I had a blast!

Fandango is coming back for a go through after 2 years of driving.  If the coach looks familiar yes, it is still on our front page, it’s also featured in the GMCMI coach calendar actually shown 3 times there!  Bill glamour 5  Hey and listen you guys searching for a serious GMC…a 23′ coach… Fandango will be up for sale……..no tire kickers, this coach is top shelf.  Used to be my wifes coach, was names “JimmyGator” was a talgate machine for Uof F before we got it…….Honda generator black powdercoated Zip Dee, quad bag, paint……awesome interior  Bill interior 5 in any color you like  Fandango lights 4  A MacDash….just too much to list.  $60,000 firm, call me if you want to know more…..a pretty together 23′ GMC, you’d look hard to find one like this one!

Anyway….I do not buy or sell coaches but if I did I’d sure get this one …If I had the need

Anyway the trip was done, this morning walking through the shop, Texas Tux is getting new front wheel bearings…5.21.18 morning 2    18 years of use hey, givem a gold watch  5.21.18 morning 1  It’s just too important to leave them in .

Today…Monday…is wet again…good thing we have a big shop….in the old days we worked outside….so much better today!  OK, moving on…today is a new day and the beat goes on…..see ya tomorrow
