The C-op, another good morning

Wow, thanks for the support on the new vacuum form concept on interior design and construction.  The end goal on this is to have the interior have a NEW FACTORY look as opposed to the custom finish we and any other restoration has done before.  Hey, someone has to try it and I do appreciate your posts and calls.  Especially Jay M. down in Miami…. come on up here when ya can…

The guys here surprise me, yesterday I took a pic of the roof job we’re doing with the base coats on  8.31.16 morning 7 A limo repair was in the booth.  Came in and opened the shop… the limo was outside  8.31.16 morning 6 and the roof as glossy with it’s 3 coats of clear on.  Didn’t know we had a night shift!  8.31.16 morning 8 and the accessories (pod, visor, metal plumb vents, AC covers and all were in the booth cleared too.  Guys, you’re the greatest…..

Take a lookat the beaver tl on the “R Pd” travel trailer 8.31.16 morning 1  The plan is to airbrush it as an antique crate…. should look neat and not the trailer can “boondock”

The CLASCO restoration coach that came back to the fold getting some love over in mechanical .  The original air bag system is off and will get it’s new quad bag system today  8.31.16 morning 3 ….. the fuel tanks are out. 8.31.16 morning 2 The coach is fitted with that direct port sequential fuel injection system  Direct-port-air-cleaner  This is the same system I installed in Larry many years ago … the fuel system wasn’t connected correctly….. one big problem with any fi system is the fuel delivery.  I learned much about what the Electromotive system needs….. the guys will fix that .  His original poopy tank….. crapped out   8.31.16 morning 5  How can you know if your holding tank is original?  If you have the white colored Thetfort gat valve screwed to a glued on bracket on the black rotomolded tank…. brother that’s original.  As plastic deteriorates it shrinks and cracks around the fittings…….. That’s the 1/2 life of this plastic….. it’s about now!  A new rotomolded tank  (don’t try and install an ABS plastic tank) has a standard 3″ outlet and fits perfect into a GM floorplan coach  If you have a Transmode interior it can be adapted to fit.  Cost is  $350 plus shipping We’ll also be installing a maserator system too  Stay tuned for more.

I see on the stat of the stat on site there are already 435 of you at 7:0am reading this.  Man, guess I’m not the only early riser.  Listen, for those f you who frequent Facebook you may have seen that negative post about the guy who ripped us off.  It was good the moderator blew it off.  To the folks who perpetrated that, you need to know the facts.  I want to protect the good name of the GMC community.  So let me ask you a singular question:  If someone convinced you they were worthy of your personal attention and to inject in them to help you then the person ran off with your complete user name and password file for your 2 businesses, personal and checking account. still owing you $8000 and you could not get any word from them…… what would you do?  It cost use big bucks to reinstate everything and regain some sense of security….. what would you do?  I feel like screaming like a mashed cat…. oh but you can’t do that… it’s not professional.  If that’s professional call me an armature!

Oops, the day is on, I’ve spent time on the phone so it’s over and out for me…. see ya tomorrow….

Hey Jim, What kind of ignition does that thing have in it. It looks to be coil packs? crank fired?… on the rear of the motor. Weird looking anyway. Give us a clue. Been working on motors for 60 years and never saw anything like that. ….Tom
