The 🤞 Co-op: Well, the last gathering on the last day before hunkering in place for my birthday….. Ill never forget the party

…..still distancing, we tried to have a 3′ distance even in the picok guys…… Be nice!  But really, thanks and it was a party to remember……Eleganza found some frothy beverage that someone spilt…..bet she’s having a headache this morning!being pretty much isolated….no customers, the door is locked…… There are 4 of us isolating in place at the shop.  Not much can get done but I can catch up on a pile of projects.

As other entertainment outlets have gone to isolated newscasts etc., it’s good to have an accepted and long running communication outlet like the “daily pose” here to give us something to do and a way to still reach out.  I’ll try my best to bring up subjects to try and take us away…..at least for a little time from all of this.  Your job will be to comment on the posts after reading…..give me a comment and a subject to use like me to get into.

I’m tired of hearing it all on the news……i need other stimulation so let’s focus on that.  I see from the pages hit counter than more of you guys are dropping by….glad we are here for ya.  So let’s get to some non virus stuff:

JD’s new Serpantine belt system is well on its way.  Adding a Senden rotary compressor, a new late model 1 wire alternator, a remote fill Power Steering pump not to mention a mega-wide (too me) single ribbed belt with a big bad spring loaded tensioner pull……we’re not running a clutch fan opting for a 2 motor electric fan box on the new off shelf aluminum radiator upgrade

The original dash AC/ heat box is on the groundto make way for our “super-blow” in dash AC/heat in dash system modificationthere’s a chance to really cleanup the firewall with THAT bugger out of the way.Stay tuned as we build the new box and instal our in dash all new, electric servo controlled, GM look alike controller, hi com output unit in.

😁 Wanting to give you more away time….here’s more:

A piece of my chocolate of course birthday cake and my card….thank you Janie for the cake and Shirley for forcing the crew to write something.  This is 1 card I’ll keep!

Oops, sorry….more of this……..

the Corvette is going back in for some more clear….they missed some cracks and edges with clear ANS we’re going for that wet look to accent the sexy lines of the body……i’ll give you more

Sorry the pic isn’t better, I’ll do closeups as we get into this project deeper but most dash rebuilds are with the MacDaddy dash you’ve seen much onand it’s a nice one but this is another Dash Mac has…..i call it a “Mini-Mac” dash. I’ll do a better pic as I said but the face is a textured hard finish with a back upholstered cover.  It’s more rounded at the corners and doesn’t come down as far at the bottom .  a double DIN and a pile of switches and gauges just like the “MacDaddy” but is just a little smaller.  With the future integrated digital dashes that are more commonplace, this upstyled new cluster may be a option for you.  Go to:

custominstrumentpanels.com

and take a look.

Dang it’s noon!  I’ll see you tomorrow and remember…..we will get through this……..
