The 👷 Co-op: Hunker-down mode, we’re doing our best

we have 2 maybe 3 heading out this week to their new forever homes.  “Bug-out buggies” these coaches are great for social isolation.

We had 2 prospecting buyers too last week…..will be interesting to see what happens.  To date, the guys said they would be in to try and keeps us on track……..maybe not, though we think our work is important ….the CDC may not agree so we’ll see.  The phones will be on for parts and questions.

I moved into JayGee leaving the house to my son who has gotten serious to help in his own way…….he’s willing to risk delivering for door dash……a mundane job has now turned to a vital need…..he’ s got our house saving Janie and I (old people) to help stay healthy…….thanks man and thanks for taking the risk to help folks.all national and Florida parks are closed…..private parks are booked.  If you’re stranded in Florida, we have 11 spots for 26′ coaches $10 a night.  We all need to pitch in together.

Eleganza is wondering how unbusy the shop was the weekend.  The guys has 3 days to use the ship (we run Monday- Thursday……… the guys too were preoccupied.  Yes, this week will be interesting.

took Ralph to Ormond by the Sea to secure the house and to see how folks are taking this at the beach.  This is not the way summer break usually looks like.  No one at this beach!  I would usually tell folks to come on down……but there’s no place to stay…..rest areas are packed with tractor-trailers.  Bummer, like I said if you’re stuck down here with a GMC, we’re here.

A rear brake job includes everything.  With new tire, this puppy will be heading home soon.

Out with the old…….this is a drilled intake with injector rails and a custom made air gate for this old style (must be tuned using a lap top..Windows 98) sequential, direct port go system.  Too mainly failure points and cannot realtime adjust to conditions.  The new active, learning to systems are 1/2 the hardware cost and only 2 outboard sensors…..i mean why would you put yourself in harm’s way with a system like this no one can troubleshoot and maintain…….yep, progress has passed this ole stuff.  If you have one of these be sure YOU have all the bin files and software manuals and all spares.  Of course if you main CPU goes out Mr. Hook will always help!  It’s not good to put yourself in this harms way.  I know….ot hurts…… I installed many of these systems when it was “state of the art”.  Kinda like records then casstes, cd’s and now there at cards and streaming music on Pandora, etc.  Yes, music has changed…i was involved and now fuel injection has taken a similar leap.  I love my record collection AND my beloved Quadrajet……. But that’s gone now too.  Yes, I can make my 1 of 5 operating turntable make music…..then I flip to Bluetooth and really feel Pandora is better entertainment……..I DO still run a carb on Larry
