………… This 1973 show booth came in after a white knuckle cross country trip. Harrowing in that running low on oil then overheating in Texas, the motor Gods looked down on this poor baby and the motor didn’t lock up. Adding oil and cooling down it fired up and kept keepin on til the alternator died and 12 volts went away. Will never happen to them again, no one prepared those folks what to expect……….they made the first leg to Tampa
But……a check out we have coolant in 1 cylinder…….this is about THE most original….untouched a 47 year old power plant that made it cross country…..i say good show!.
a rigged up oil fill elbow and an replaced connector on the cruise control transducer……….unbelievable! NO MACHINE could do that!
We will pull the intake manifold and heads..from there We’ll see. Stay tuned……………
And the box and chassis are one……such a touching cerimonysoon this machine my cart you to the doc! Fun watching this process
.Stopped by Mikes for some help with those heads…..he’res a 455 he’s getting the block set up for line bore I think…..
.heres a set of heads ready for finishing up.
Thank you Mike for helping us get “Mobilize for Good” back on the road
So yeah, I’m late getting this out………probably won’t be the last………so much happening, things are never following a plan!
Thanks for putting back with me…..btw….the new aluminum radiator electric fan box set up is still in design……stay tuned, Jason is on it right now…..stay tuned.
