The 🏁 Co-op: On this day, the coldest in 10 years!…..

35 degrees……feels like temp. …..somewhere I should not be!Β  Still after the traffic this morning I ride!Mechanical to include intake manifold block-offs, I fresh remanufactured carb brought back into spec, double roller timing chain, belts, hoses, bearings, brakes this coach is slotted to make the upcoming sun-n-fun if you know what that is…….. A few interior bits and if it brings me home from the infamous road test and another puppy gets his collar…..stay tuned.

The RV that saved the industryBecause of demand for hurricane disaster relief, Fleetwood was pumping out like 25 a day of these stripped down squat boxes.Β  No holding tank, only 5 small windows in the whole thing the FEMA taller was pretty popular for a whileThese were cheaply built travel travel trailers made to not travel.Β  Took 3 washing with engine degreaser to find a white exterior.Β  Hey but when the RV industry needed a shot in the arm there it was.Β  And I think folks may have found life in one of these tolerable for a bit….kinda…..if you held you nose…….covered your eyes and stood in 1 place…………..Β  I guess kinda like the Pinto or Chevette, these “seemed to be good at the time” made made machines are irreversibly burned into our history…….to take it in and maybe learn from it!

Let’s decently move on…….The only one of us who can really get down and “play” with Eleganza is Phillip……we move back and letm have at it when they both stand like this……….she needs her exercise though…….all we needed was water and Ron H. could have driven his new roller motor swerved up into Mutcedes……… Been a long time coming but if I’m lucky I’ll get to tool around in the cold with this beast..THIS is one of the perks that keeps me doing this…….. I’ll do pics!

And you know I hope the drive train is crap!Β  ………Hey, pull out the tape measure and the Mutcades measurements………Forget that cute transverse V6 drive train….Like the GEICO “Mor-tor” commercial…Yeah,……I can see that!..

The day is on, see ya tomorrow.
