The 🇺🇸 Co-op: Today is a new day…….

Yesterday’s frustration has turned to “I don’t really care what anyone thinks”, we know who we are and I hope you know too.  So let’s move on…..

Yesterday we got some more done on our interior door projectThe refinished metal interior latch panel is in place.  True I skipped over stretching the same material used stretching the dash but it’s hard to take pics when you’re stretching vinyl……..  It’s a matter of hi temp contact adhesive and gluing the material to the panel……its not a big deal, do it once and expect to screw up then do it again and I bet it’s fine……..

You can now see why the square was cut in the metal panel, if the door, for whatever readon, we’re to not open on command you can remove the cover over the square and get the door open…..actually it’s the ONLY way you could if something happened.4 new stainless steel screws in the door edge to hold the latch and the panel held in place with 6 1/8″ pop rivets now we can measure for the new upper and lower interior door panelsThe square access opening will get a color keyed label secured over the opening.  We RTV it in place.  I mean chances are you may never need to get in there…..ah, but if you do…….

With the wind lace and 2 sided door gasket installed the door still of course latches on both levels nice-n-tightWhich is the main goal to start with!

Come back tomorrow when Robert installs the metal door panel on coach?#2 and builds a the upper and lower interior door panels for both.

And listen, I’m not sorry for blowing up when the few bad apples in the GMC community instigate shit and attack me.  I guess I’m a big target and my guess is they’re just jealous of all the progress we are having and just don’t know how to be a part of something big.  It’s easy to step on others to try and make yourself look big.  Success comes with hard work and caring ……….not from dissing other people and what they do.  I have dedicated my life to the GMC Motorhome and have proven it over 29 years of trying to support that specific community.  I’m not changing now……..

See you tomorrow
