If you have an air leak in your rear suspension you know how much of a hassle it can be.
We’ve found the main place to check are all the air line fittings throughout the coach. The original air fittings were black plastic. We strongly suggest is take them all out replacing them with these Parker brand “68P” series. As you can see a center support for your plastic 1/4″ air lines to support the air line walls. The center tube support is part of the fitting. The black plastic Ferrell literally bonds to the plastic air lines providing a really reliable seal.
Standard air lines use a metal Farrell will pinch and damage your plastic line if it’s tightened too much, not tightened enough they leak.
You will also see a push in style fitting as well. They work well…….for a while, I thing bouncing down the road causes these fittings to leak in time. Here I have removed all the “press lock ” fittings out of the new design Power Level 2 knob control in early model coaches. Many of these presslock fittings are out there, they are accepted just not by me.
This may seems like a small issue……until you have a pesky air leak it may feel like that…..have a leak and you’ll see what I mean.
See your local Parker brand dealer, they should have these or call us and we’ll send them to you.
Today will be organisation and cleanup days, the team is all coming in to be a part of this big change. I’ll do pics for tomorrow….see ya then
