The 🇺🇸 Co-op: (UPDATED) A time tunnel Revcon

………One formidable competitor in the day was this 1984 RevconA front wheel drive 454 Chevy motor with a unique transfer case that turns the torque to the front wheels.  A 32″ coach cost more than the GMC.

The distinctive front wheel openings and the sharknose  front-end is something you can’t missthe interior is really clean but datedand the dash….wellBut hey, it’s in super clean, well kept shape and after some mechanical and interior updates this coach will be a blast.  It goes into the mechanical Q first when we crank back up

Pulled in Jim and Ada G. coach to do a small punch list to get the coach ready when we can travel again.  We put this coach together literally 20 years ago, been lovingly maintained and is a useful member of their familyso it’s amazing what can be built with palates…….when we reopen, all tools and work tables will be on rollersshould go a long way for shop organisation and usefulness.

Ok, enough for today, opening is still a?week away but we’re getting ready.

Please stay safe and healthy out there……… Go hug your motorhome…..its lonely out there!  See ya tomorrow

(UPDATE)  Just got my first person upset that we could not do work on their coach next week.  Sorry but I make absolutely no apologies for not being open.  Honestly, there is NO WAY an auto mechanic can “socially distance”.  If we were working on emergency vehicles even cars and trucks needed for commute is why they call auto mechanics “essential”…..hey but what?we do is NOT essential and continuing to expose my techs is just not something I’m willing to do.  Yes, we all need to get back to work and yes, this has really effected our cash flow but you KNOW this is the right thing to do.  We hope to reopen completely Monday week.  We are accepting intake project and trying to ship a few of our care packages but we are and will continue to protect my techs from this virus.  Just the way I see this.  In 5 year looking back I know it will prove to be right.

You guys stay safe and healthy and like I said, go hug your motorhome…..it doesn’t have Coronavirus!……
