The 🆕 Co-op: More progress reports……….

……….a “semi” delivery this Friday………yeah I know that’s supposed to be my day off and I’ve been pretty persistent about this but these folks are coming in from overseas and we’ll the way flights are…..its just a thing.

A pretty unique out together the coach as you can see is a frightfully original green 77 🌴 Beachhey “RETRO” is in and will be with us.  The goal of this restoration is to have a really reliable GMC to take overseas.

Problem is the folks had their heart set on an early style Saquoia interior color scheme!Yep, light birch instead of the late model walnut…..green…..cabinet doors and if we could do it that green print!

We did thatstill under transformation, the front inside still look like the 77 Palm Beach upholstry. The reason for this overseas visit is well to have a holiday in the US but also to get to know the coach more, test out all the mechanicals and new things and to make a decision to either reupholster the better sitting late model spring steel seat or are we going for the framed seats and upholstered pads.

What would YOU do?  Remember now if you want something for sure you need to go for it but how accurate do we want to be?  It’s actually a hard decision, one that needs to be slept on……..and that’s what’s Gonna happen.

Stay tuned for the outcome.

Contrast that to what I call a true “Restomod” , Chris M. Could care less about originality, a new flat floor and a floorplan change with all new cabinetsthe all new bulkhead place the GM floorplan bathroom module forward to the entry doorwhich makes way for a queen bed

And in true restomod form the dash will be all new with a Mac Daddy dash and badass dash AC….Im going for more wood this morning for this and 2 other interior buildouts so I need to actually work now….see ya tomorrow.……..
