……….Hey, ANOTHER coach is coming in on a flat bed…….foam the runway, the battle wagon is coming in hot and heavy! 3 aborts and finally its on a flatbed…..sometimes it’s just gotta happen.
So yesterday I was talking about the melted motor and our efforts to resuscitate the beast, having both heads burnt, as you saw in yesterday’s last pic, the replaced heads are on the motorthe replacement heads were gone through completely over at MikesHe really came through for us basically stopped what he was doing to help us stay on track…..thanks man.
So today The rest of the motor will go back together, we’re replacing the original points distributer with a new HEI unit, the carb was junk….we’ve go a fresh reman carb with an electric choke…..the exhaust crossover will be blocked with a pair of these stainless steel block off platesI’ll do some pics for you today. Fingers crossed this puppy will hit the road Friday………it MAY rise again, we’ll have to see…..going this deep into an original motor doesn’t always work……lets see……..
So yeah, we’re booked…burried….slammed…..hammered or however you wanna say it! Thanks for all of your support, it’s working……hey, even the Fiero fired up and went around the block yesterday! Dang, no 455 for this one, the little 6 shooter is still pumpin!
And then there’s thisis that the world’s smallest fuel tank there behind the holding tank maseraror? Nope, it’s the sump on the new aluminum fuel tank designed under the dedicated bed….. This coach will NEVWR slosh fuel on corners! Over 50 gallons all vented to the outside. Only for in house installation, there are now several fuel tank options ……stay tuned.
