Hi Jim and Janie:
Just a quick note to say that we made the trip home to Ontario with no significant events. We left on the 2nd of April…..bad idea. Every tourist and old fart with an RV was on the road heading home from Spring break and a winter in the sunny South. It was like a Toronto rush hour for 500 miles with accidents, traffic jams and crowded highways. The rejuvenated brakes did their thing in good form with several emergency stops and lots of creeping along in slow traffic. Not a hot wheel to be found. When we got back to Canada gas prices were $5.50 a gallon ( I use mid grade to prevent pinging in the mountains). The old darling purred along no trouble through the traffic and torrential rains and once back in the old country we got freezing temps over night. I had to quickly drain and blow out the water system and find some RV antifreeze! Spring may be here soon?!? I have been using Mobile 1, 10W30 which is supposed to contain a good amount of ZDDP but I think it is a little light weight for 65 mph cruising. I used two quarts in 1700 miles and the pressure runs a bit lower at two needle widths above the mid mark at 2200 rpm?? No leaks.
We had a great four months in the GMC but were pretty happy to have our three bathrooms and giant bedroom where we could walk right around the bed and get in and out without climbing over someone….not complaining, just saying. Bobbi is in here somewhere and I can’t even see her, she hasn’t been out of sight for months! I think she is hiding!?
Keeping the dream alive

P.S. The guy who picked up a coach just after us and had all of the trouble on his trip back to Canada was Ed J. from somewhere out West. I just remembered his name.
