Vintage RV & Motorhome restorations - "The GMC Coop"

You are here: Home / The Daily Pose / So many have called wanting to know more about sealing the roof……..

So many have called wanting to know more about sealing the roof……..

……..  Its Not unusual, learning about the “resealable seams” most coaches are in bad need of revealing the rails, cross seams and roof penetration.  The care package with all materials needed has been shipping, thanks for your business and for saving what’s still viable in your interior.  Particle board doesn’t react well to water!  If you’re interested, we have a video over on Motorhome Rehab Ranch…..Goggle that and scroll to our Patreon Page.

The “MiniMac” dash is starting to look like somethingturned on the dash lights to show off the back ite legends.  Yeah, I know it looks like a pile of wires at the right panelthe original AC control panel is also reconnected waiting to be mounted to the panel….the rest of it is speaker and power wiring for the new AV system……stay tuned for that…….This is are replacement “vertical felt runner” behind the bar between your side windows.  You can see the original woven then covered the old feltwhile our new solid black plastic backing and a black plastic seal sheet…..we had 10,000 feet of this stuff produced so in the future when you see this material know it’s oursMany consumable parts like this are becoming unavailable, the good new though is there is enough call for “consumables” for our classic coach to have things reproduced…….no other vintage RV has this option.  Body parts like these felts, interior and mechanical parts need to be available to bring these coaches back to the road.

I’m back on the Mini-Mac dash today, the guys have a holding tank to drop……finals on 3 coaches are coming together and with a wet summer day ahead of us….. Let’s sweat to the oldies!

Tomorrow I want to show you some nice coaches ready for a new forever home.  Restoring these classic coaches is becoming more expensive…..labor being the money sucking pig of the world….we have several previous restorations that cost far less if you want to get into one of these quicker than?the year production time for a full restoration AND a fraction of the labor costs.  Come by tomorrow and see some of these previous restorations….there may be one of these “puppies in the window” that could make you happy……see all that tomorrow.

Thanks for dropping by, well see ya later….

Hey…WHO said LED lights don’t get hot!  There was a burning smell in the shop…..kinda scared me!   Oh here it comes….”never seen that before!”

Is there a NEW video about sealing the roof?
How about a video of removing the screws from the top rail that is such a chore?
    Thanks!

PS- An editor for your posts would go a looooong way!
