Vintage RV & Motorhome restorations - "The GMC Coop"

You are here: Home / The Daily Pose / So if youve had a chance to watch our last video on replacing bogy pins………

November 14, 2020

So if youve had a chance to watch our last video on replacing bogy pins………

……..these are the arms and bogy after a decreasing and a steam Jenny blow offif you haven’t seen it yet, go to our “video blog” page, click on the Patreon link.  Scroll down through all the advertising stuff.  It may clear up things about this project.

So next, I’ll do some stills posted here and then another video on the reinstall and connection of the bogy back onto the coach.

.………

while in hover mode, The Bikers Dream will get all its front and rear suspension and brake issues done.  Original (45 year old) rear brake hoses…..the bolt was rusted so bad it broke off!see that swollen fitting end on the left…..thats rust under the loose protective sleeve!  Brother that’s bad JuJu!  We will install our Teflon lined braided stainless UV/ Hydrocarbon resist sleeve hoses.  The rear suspension gave its best but now it’s time for some new parts and a little love 💘.

you couldn’t see the back side of the bogy in the video……you can see the pin heads with the cut out where the lock screw was to keep the pins from spinning.  This face is up against the C channel frame

Ok, gotta go, it’s a Saturday but I’m feeling pretty good after sleeping away Friday……. Let’s see what today brings.  Thanks for your support, keep watching for more videos, our goal is 1 a week……..
