So I get a chance to actually DO something myself!

………… It may sound silly but being a part of a group such as that there is paperwork and talking on the phone….answering questions….bla…bla…bla.  Hey wait….. Blood thinners or not DOING this stuff is what drew me to this mess in the first place……. We have successfully buried all the guys pushing our?Q hard…….Jason asked ME to do something!  Hey and it’s something over the decades that I had grown to enjoy doing………..namely its taking all the stuff out of this boxand put it on this dashYes, I get to take a frightfully original early model dash apart, refinish all the colors (who was it a GM who decided to make all the dashes the first couple of years that green black color?  And THEN I get to wire in and mount Mac’s famous “MacDaddy” dash complete!

I agree the first time you look at the process its a bit scary but after knowing Mac for all of the 30 years I’ve been doing this ….working to make his dashes the best they can be its a BLAST for me to dig in and “do a dash”……Greg P., thank you for allowing me the pleasure of building up a MacDaddy dash again myselfThey’ve got it inside the big house for me……heck, until we were fortunate getting this place EVERYTHING was done outside in the sun/rain/cold……..man, this is awesome having a place like this to work…….id relate this to walking to school 10 miles every day thru the snow uphill both ways!!!!! I will say though it’s going to be a much more pleasant project for me!  I literally got 2 screws out….the phone rang and here it is Wednesday morning!

And to make me annnnriccccipate the fun even more…….. I’m NOT working on it at ALL today!  What would pull me away from something I dearly love to do?  What could possibly overshadow THAT?this was our 40th Anniversary party pic……..its 42 now…no parties but there’s 2 more years of experiences and being together so YEAH that’s something we need to celebrate before I get to have fun with that dash. Here we are when it all began and from there nobody knows what happened!……..

Sorry Greg but tomorrow your dash will be apart!

So let’s keep our eyes on the prize…..pretty soon your dash will be in this directionStay runed…….

So I have another job to do today and my guess we may be going somewhere this weekend……..lets see…….

Tomorrow is a new day….the guts are busting it today and I get my chance tomorrow…….”to infinity and beyond!
