(UPDATED ABOUT ALTERNATORS) So here we go……heavy weather……..

….. I thought they named that street bike right….the Honda Hurricane made sense to me!

So what do you do having a beach house in Ormond with this stuff coming?  I of course went and mowed the grassif it gets blown away at least the grass will look good!

Orlando is inland but we expect rain and wind.  Take a look at the shot of our shot on the main page, we are blessed to have a large building immediatly north of us.  Hurricane winds here always blow north to south……our north and south side of our shop are shielded.  Don’t know how Eleganza will think about this…..we’ll seeThis is how you build a solid surface countertop.  The Coke can is important!  Fitting the counter really fits the interior work in here…………David has the EM-50 paint finished upYou can see how many colors there is… That’s the utility door, it and the hoods are in color with clear coming nextprotecting the rest of the paint on the “Urban Assault Vehicle” is being carefully protected and we’ll clear of everything………can’t wait to see this project come together….i know of at least 2 people who are with me on that.

But actually, everyone with a project here in house (right now that’s 32 projects in our Que) should watch with interest as each project moves through…..it means their project is that much closer……everyone will get their time..Oh boy, looks like the guys think they’re finished with JD’s coach……looks like it’s time for me to ride……..my favorite thing to do.  Hey and if you wondered, that’s Roberts “Big Orange”  living quarters, he’s one of our techs…….we’re thinking about requiring all techs to own a GMC……. wonder if that’s allowed?   .this is Jason’s Transmode complete with double rear doors and a properly built deck……very cool

So we’re waiting for this party started.  There will be “the other side” so we’ll let you know how things go…..hey, we’ll be fine……….

Talk to ya later…..…

(UPDATE ABOUT ALTERNATORS)

There some of the usual talking heads on Facebook …some tell me to not lower myself but if I didn’t say “the emperor is.not wearing cloths” it usually goes to puss dome off furthering the ideas that I’m evel, wicked, mean and nasty.  The truth is I’ve tried to support my family for 29 years working on GMC Motorhomes.  Over the years I’ve made mistakes…..and learned from them.  I do things the way we do because I have seen the outcome from doing things another way.  I always try to better tho gs, new technologies that do not complicate things…..mew materials and fabrics can make our GMC even better.

Specifically, the alternator that came with our motorhome was the first design…..there have been improvements that can help us have?a more reliable coach.  See there are some that say that “think” doing new ideas on alternators are bad.  Guys I don’t think….i KNOW a self excited, ramp up 130 amp alternator is better for charging multiple batteries as we all do.  This is a fact and no mud sling g will change that.  Social networking is made for positive intwrraction, there’s no room for big heads or those with a chip on their shoulder.  I’m an easy target….but be careful I shoot back!  If you see any of this challenge them.  If 6ou see something that’s wrong say something….do something……male all of our interactions more valuable.  Ok, I’m down from the soapbox.  Thanks for putting up with me…….
