Posted up a couple of videos this week……..

……….over on Motorhome Rehab Ranch.  I have no doubt most of you have found your way to that Patreon Page.

But if it’s been a struggle I dig that.  I vividly remember the day when I thought…..Why do I need a PC, my ELECTRONIC calculator is all I need!

So yeah, I feel ya man…..but as soon as you finish reading this mess, go to the bottom of any page on the site and click on that red rectangular box that says “be a Patreon member” or something like that. I wish it said, ” shortcut to Motorhome Rehab Ranch” but of course it wouldn’t fit….so visualize it says that and when you click on it…..let the page load up!  Don’t immediately start scrolling…wait til the page loads THEN scroll down to “Latest Videos” and strap in!

Today’s offering is titled ” Interiors fast and easy”.  That’s kinda like thinking a flat tire is only flat on the bottom! ?

Don’t look at this as a spoiler alert but that’s not true in most cases.  So a guy says……” So you’re not saying it can’t happen?”  Depends on your expectations and what you have to start with.  So check it out.

Hey and that also holds to for the generator video Jason put together.  Still, unless you are willing to make a sacrifice or 2, the Onan 5.5 and 7000 units available thru Applied is the closest fit and best option.  It has little need to “slide out” for service except for maybe every couple of hours for a cleanup and check.  Every mechanism made by man needs eyeballs on it once in a while in a while…. I mean things fall off etc……

Theres an access panel for General maintenance.  You know why most of the new generators are in their own doghouse?  They contain and direct heat from the motor…..puls cool air in, swirled it around and spits it and the exhaust muffler radiant heat out.  Hi technology?  I think it might be more like those folks putting the Hi pressure fuel pump in the tank.  The pomp can be so cheap it won’t great a siphon and it can also dissipate its heat into the gas!  Cheap pumps get hot!  Besides the highest failure rate electric devices are relays and motors!  Hey, let’s put that cheap pump where they will need to bring it to us to change out the number one known weak link in the system…..Hey, great idea!  Up to you……..

The video posted today was in response to some interesting threads I’ve been following.  Like I had explained I’d like to cover good questions floating out there.  Also, I’d like to post of of the projects I get involved with

Like right now a Ranch Hans was trying to make a short holiday and looked to a reputable local shop who even had another GMC sitting on the property!  His mechanic said, ” I’ve been bleeding brakes on GMC trucks for 30 years ….dont tell me how to bleed brakes.  Your coach has a demon and were going to have to go back in”.  Can’t make a horse drink…….. We’ll get it outa there, they probably replaced the hardware right…..i bet the problem is he won’t do a 3 way bleed”.  Go look up the video.  Yes, there’s a peculiarly to bleeding our brakes and this teterchip is unwilling to listen.  Come to find out the shop hit the other GMC with a $2000 front suspension repair and the customer refused to pay it!

Man, thats sad.  If your mechanic ever treats you like this just limp outa there.  We can find better help cause that place isn’t helping!  Sorry to say, it happens.

So you say ” how can this be, we live in America dangit!”

Remember I said he selected an RV dealer with a good reputation and I bet that’s probably true butt see they are structured on doing SOP and happy customers and money both pop out the other side.

Their techs are exposed to installing universal fit new parts …..defective OEM stuff under warranty or at least a recently manufactured, standardized universal chassis that has an OBD port.

They were right for turning down the job at first but when he cut his list to just brakes….the dealer actually had a heart and thought “how bad could it be!”……….And because they would not investigate why all of his techs cold not successfully flush and bleed his system.

YES, if you don’t do a few simple things you will be there for HOURS!  Hey, I’m sorry, I didn’t cause it but after 30 years of this Crap I DO know what to do!  If they would just listen!

Well, this too shall pass and as long as no bears walk out in front of them everything will be fine…..until he can get it home and first gravity bleed the work they did.  I’ll keep you informed.

Oh, You know if you’re not willing to listen to others, your successes will come slowly……..

If this has been or is a situation right now?  Call me, it’s sorta why you put up with me!  Sometimes I feel that way.  Listen, call me sometime when you’re not having a crisis….hey, maybe something went right!  When all you do is put out fires, maybe I need a dip in the pool once in a while to keep perspective.  I need to hear good or what fixed something……thats the way I learn stuff!

I think this is enough, my plucking finger AND my thumb have gone to sleep!  Time to go.  I’ll see about commenting on a few threads tomorrow.  See ya then

Yep…..still no pics!
