DO NOT install anything but a new brake master cylinder when rebuilding your brake system and because of small difference that some might say “no big deal” I say there is so only use a new Delco brake master cylinder. You have a 12,000 pound projectile moving through space and Newton’s law tells you that there will be damage if you hit something. Brakes are nothing to play with so do not use a rebuilt brake master cylinder. Can’t say this to strongly! We offer a brand new original design brake master cylinder that will bolt in place– no mods, no changes– the right one for the right duty as good as it can be. $89 plus shipping puts one of these puppies in your hands. Call me when you go to put yours in for install, set up and bleeding tips
Brake combination valve
The “wild card” in a brake system rebuild, by this time your brake system needs this new part, trust me. Many of the original combination valves were steel so rust may very well have taken it’s toll on the inside of this brake system “regulator”. Our new valves are brass, a perfect fit. Cost is $89 each. Inventories are in and out so give us a call early if you are going into your brake system. If you rebuild your brakes and still have the original meter valve, you are not done yet. Don;t “play” around with your brakes– sorry to say it this way but your need this part!
NEW Park Brake cable kit
The park brake cable system on the GMC was not a very good design, built in friction and cable components prevented its reliable use. In the past, we have stayed away from restoring this system even though it is very important and even mandatory in many states mainly because I did not feel we could do a good job at making the brake work as well as I thought it should. NO MORE, this new Park Brake cabling kit works. It has been designed to take away the internal friction of the original system, is made of top quality materials and is built to a very high tolerance. Produced in Canada, it is difficult to ship over the border, if you are interested in a set let us know. Cost is $500 plus shipping– cheap for a safety device like this that works! Sensitive Brake Booster NEW Design
Hey and this is NOT an original hashed over booster with a different control valve spring or a shaved reaction disc! Do not be “hoodwinked”, if you want a new design booster— this is it . $218 plus $20 for a replacement input shaft and you can use your old booster as fill dirt (ie.: no “core” cost or return shipping costs for the core). That’s right, forget sending me your “core”– we don’t want it and don’t need it to offer you a really well designed replacement brake booster for your GMC. No core charge and no 2 way shipping saves you money!
I learn by listening to those in the know and in looking for a “better mouse trap”. We have had this all new Delco 3rd generation booster special modified for our GMC. Having 1450 PSI of boost, this beats the original design 1150 PSI unit, not to say it will do more or make your teeth brighter it’s just saying it is as strong and actually a bit more robust than the original. We reset the input sensitivity to make this booster give you the feel you are looking for in your brakes. I understand now so much more about boosters in putting this product together and can tell you this is the “Cadillac” of boosters for your coach. This is not a tired original booster with a different strength control arm spring or one with a shaved reaction disc. There are integral components in our original booster that cannot be replaced, this unit is made from newer parts which are available so every component part is as new as possible. You could also raise the sensitivity by heating the control valve spring– thats all old magic now with this 3rd generation unit. Delco matches this booster for the GVW of the vehicle and this booster is made for us. All new parts and I mean all new— I like it, let me know what you think. We are committed to bringing you the best we can, how’d we do boss? Do not use this booster in conjunction with any of those larger master cylinders some people tell you to install. Those are not needed if you have the rest of your system well maintained and is not designed for the GMC so be careful with that. Call if you have any further questions, brakes are one of those things you do not want to play with! Also, there are compatibility tricks that make your entire brake system work properly, purchasing this part also comes with the expertise we have found to install, adjust and maintain your system so you are getting much more than just the part!
