Windshield Replacement

All windshields are not the same nor is their installation.  You must be sure you get the best glass available AND have them installed AND sealed properly by someone who is experienced and will back their work with a local warranty.  These are the things you need to look for when having windshields replaced.  Don’t be fooled—- there is substandard glass out there and even finding the right glass is nothing without having someone experienced to install it.

There are those out there that will ship you windshields—- now what?  Your local glass guy , while being experienced in his field, cannot warranty glass you provide to him for install– its not fair to look to him to guaranty something he did not supply you.

No, the right way to get the best glass, at a good price and have it installed and warranted not to leak and be free from manufacturing defects- (WITHOUT HAVING ANY LIABILITY YOURSELF) is to contact http://www.rvglasssolutions.com.  These guys are great,  they have affiliations with professional glass installers throughout the country and will guide you in having windshields installed in your GMC the right way.  They only deal in Viracon glass (the best you can get) and will guaranty the glass AND the installation to your satisfaction.  PRICE?  Oh yes, and their prices are very fair, no more “I gotcha over a barrel” stuff trying to replace damaged windshields— isn’t that nice?

Call them at 1-888-777-6778, tell him the Co-op told you to call.  They are a reputable business needed by the GMC community, they need and deserve our support.  I use them here at the shop for all of my windshield needs— you should too.
