Oh man, they’ve got me all set up…heres a pic from the camera

Well, here it is.

OK, she did that one, heres mine…….

Woopee… I did it! Just like I did it like 15 years ago! With the camera and all, this way I can get back into cataloging pics. What do I mean by that? Since the cell phone took over the picture taking world, it’s not been convienant to file pics ….like this pic from the past

Now there’s a deserted beach! and note there’s not even the obligatory 4 wheeler tracks from the lifeguard……..none of those here……

So Fernandina Beach is about an hour north from Jacksonville, on Amelia Island there’s Fort Clinch used in the Civil war

A little over a mile to downtown the there are 2 parks to camp in…one in the bushes the other next to the beach……. Something like $35-40 a night too! We spent a full day wandering thru this place. No motorhome yet we stayed in a room next to the fort.

Heck, even at the main beach where the restaurants are the beach is awesome

Now there they DO have the equipment

But putting the umbrella up backwards ………,,well, it’s a summer job. Hey but some of the lifeguards have other skills……

and after happy hour at this place the day ended pretty well

and as they say …well grounded….

Camping spots are perfect four our 26′ coaches, awesome views and really close to everything……..the roads up A1A from Ormond north were awesome.even downtown is close by so I’d give Fernandina Beach a big thumbs up.

nice roads…….

I have some more pics in my phone but now with this setup, the phone and laptop don’t like eachother! The one above is from the phone

As the Legend says on my coach……no, not the white sticker……….and where will we be going back to soon?
