Ok, ok, I’ll be alright…. just felt a little Dejavo there…. Gimme a couple to process some pics for you… the coffee should be hot…. but not over 180 degrees!
OK back, even a Friday will be busy today. The fuel tanks in Cedric’s #41 coach has fresh tanks for his diesel . Unfortunate but after giving the 1973 tanks a good cleaning we found them littered with pin holes on the top. These are replacements, cleaned, pressure tested and undercoated with POR-15.
Here’s one of Rick’s original style knuckles fresh with bearings and seals, turned rotors… ready to swap out for the loose Wallace 3 bearing modified knuckles. It’s too bad but these assemblies are no longer supported, on the loose side looking for a place to fail. Doing the right thing, Rick agreed that going back to the original knuckle/ hub assemblies will be best getting his coach to a road worthy, serviceable condition. Hey everyone needs to brag a little on their coach, don’t go crazy though, opening up the shop here’s a shot of my beloved “Larry”, an ex mobile Post Office from the Denver Postal Syatem… just had to show it off…. not for everyone … but I like it
How bout that backdrop of a 40′ pusher diesel we’re doing some paint touchup on…
Pulled out another palate of goodies from the old shop. Yeah and a burned up Honda starter there segregated Turning back inside projects are lined up waiting for the guys to get in…
That “R Pod” trailer belongs to a good friend who had a small run in with his house awning…. Bill D. 23′ coach is there getting it’s door holes filled and DA sanded
As you can see they’re working their way around to the back… filling holes and sanding everything. Willie is here working with us on he and Nancie’s 26′
Paint now on, we’re replacing rotted floor sections
coach completely stripped of it’s rotted interior. Floors are first then we go to the bulkheads, cabinets and walls
Wheels back on means the fresh brakes are about ready to flush and bleed.
Suns coming up now, ready for this day to spool up, hope you have challenges in your day too…. it keeps us all going. See ya tomorrow…..
