In that we perform complete interior renovations here at our facility in Orlando, we can probably help you find things you need when working on your interior.  Everything from plumbing to upholstery, walls, floors--- shoot, you name it & we do it.  Cal us when you are looking for something, we may have it or can at least point you in a direction.  Not only selling you parts we give our years of information away for free!  We're here to help.

Vinyl

Vinyl's are made for application.  Some uses need the material to be floppy, others stiff.  Some need it to be supple some want to be stiff.  Some vinyl's have texture others are slick, some will stretch and deform others will not.  All vinyl is not created equal and neither are their price.  You can spend $30 dollars a yard for more with names names you will recognize.  Be carefull to now use a certain material just because you have hear of it.  Select a material that suits your use.

Some say they want their entire interior of real leather, boy thats a pile of cows giving their all and boy will that drill a hole in your wallet!  You also need to remember that colored leather is sold in dye lots so to get the same dyed color, you have to purchase all of the leather from the same dye lot and forget about ever matching it later.

After a decade of refinishing the interior of GMC motohomes, we here at the Co-op have settled on one material that does everything we look for.  It stretches well so we can refinish the dash pads, glue likes it so we use it on headliner and wall panels, it wears well and feels supple so all of our upholstery is done with it and when it comes to wrapping small intricate parts it bents and stretches to the shape we need.

The stuff is nicknamed "pleather" or plastic leather.  The best part is the price, we offer this material for $14 yard.  Thats much less than the high dollar vinyls and wears and feels great.  Most people think it is leather until I tell them different--- hey, maybe I shouldn't say anything!  Here is a sample card of the colors available in this material.  There are many vinyl's out there & I am sure there are others that will work well in this application but I am pleased with this product and pleased with its price.  If you are interested in some, give us a call.

Go to Vinyl colors for our colors.

Does your driver foot mat look like this?   Well then never fear--- Uncle Al's driver foot mats are here!!!    A good friend and devoted GMC owner has found a nifty way to offer us a fantastic looking custom replacement molded foot mat-- in colors no less, thanks man.  They are $85 each.  Just got these in so if you have interest give me a call, I expect these will fly out the door right away.

Lights for your dash legends
A great new part designed by Len Novak.  Ever wish the legends on the right side of your dash cluster worked?  For that matter, how bout the left side, it actually did originally work but years have killed the fiber optic strip.  Len wanted his legends to work so look what he did, he has put together a simple kit to make all of the legends on the original dash light up.  He gets $27 plus shipping from California for the complete set up. He was told it could not be done---  Email him at b52rule@adelphia.net.  Thanks man for the hard work on this great little "widget"  Illumination colors are blue, white, green, orange, red.

Seats:  Seats are NOT created equal.  If your back is like mine, I can tell you if a seat is good or not in about 1 hour!  I have tried many seat builders and have settled on these.

Overhead door hinge that works Tired of getting wacked on the head when your overhead door falls?  Do you have so many brackets, lifts, springs and stuff scientifically designed to keep that door out of your way that they actually get in your way?  This hinge pair will hold your 3/4" solid overhead door closed AND open .  Yes, there is a modification you will have to do to the side openings of the cabinet (add @ 3/4" of surface-- study the pic) but its not hard and you will then be able to throw all of that other hardware away.  These are $11 a pair (1 pair does one door).  I try to keep these in stock although you guys are doing your best to buy all I have so call with a little lead time if you are interested.

Lighted exterior entry door handle    The description and the pic pretty much tells the story, the plastic bar illuminates, I carry this in the curved version you see as well as a straight bar model.  These are $48 and are not hard to mount and wire.  sorry, out of stock right now, call to get on B/O list

Dash overlay (Carbon Fiber look)  Sorry, on back order, get on the list

Tired of that genuine simulated wood looking vinyl stick on thing covering your instrument panel?  Check this out   This is our new carbon fiber look bezel overlay   This panel replaces that pealing up old wood thing and gives you a new look.  CNC cut, it is a very good fit.  Cost is $45, a cheap way to spruce up the dash.

Steering Wheels  Yes, the wait is over, we have two fantastic wheels to choose from.  Its been a while looking for a quality, low priced custom wheel to offer for the GMC and we are please to say-- "Come and Getem!".

Steering wheel 16.5.jpg (56150 bytes)  This 16" leather wrapped, brushed nickel "low delta" style steering wheel is very close to the original wheel diameter.  The thick diameter leather stitched ring feels great and you bet you can see all the gauges on the dash!  What say ye for $175 and it bolts right on-- even has a nifty "GMC" center logo.  Shipements will be here soon, give us a call.

18 in chair 2.jpg (83606 bytes)  The "big boy" wheel, this 18" leather stitched brushed nickel "low V" wheel bolt right on to our original column.  The center logo is the same as the 16" wheel.  How much does it go for?  Cheap, its only $10 bucks more at $185.  These are in stock now.  You won't find a better pair of wheels -- no motorcycle jokes please!

Dash AC Upgrade  If you have a 1973-76 GMC, your dash AC probably doesn't work for crap!  How do I know this, well, the vent systems did not do a good job of carrying air from the evaporator to you and thats a fact.  How can this be fixed and how can you get good air flow from the dash AC system?  There is a "retrofit dash AC kit but you can go through all of that and you will still not have enough air for anything.  This unit WILL do the job!  We offer this tastefull unit that is a second evaporator and blower system that is tied into the dash system-- air flow!  You get flakes on low, cubes on medium and ice bergs on hi!  Yes, the original compressor will handle the system with no problem.  Yes, there are more parts & the installation is a bit involved, but this is the main part that makes it happen.  This unit costs $325, you will also need to modify your original hoses and tie the unit electrically to the wiring.  All together the project should cost you @ $1000-- sure its a couple of bucks but just think what it will feel like having a couple of trays of ice cubes raining down on you-- so whats that worth?  In Florida its worth everything!

Our all new unit provides a outboard driver vent with the controls and the ducting.  A vast improvement on our first design.

(NOTE:  This kit is NOT complete and CANNOT be installed with ordinary hand tools on a weekend while you watch your grandson!  There will be several items that needs to be added to this unit and my suggestion is to have a qualified AC man do the work for you.  This is the main part you will need to make this all happen.  I will be glad to step your tech or you if you like through the installation procedure.  No, it is not a snap in fit either, it is an under dash AC unit, a universal unit at that.  But with a little work you can have cold air up front and that is what we offer here.  If you get this unit and it is not what you want, thats no problem-- ship it back but understand what this unit is before you invest the shipping.  I love it and have installed several, if you do not like it, hey-- we live in America and you do not have to like what I do)  In Florida having cold AC is more important than most anything you can think of in the summer, and this kit makes it all happen.

Flip down table

This table is a close replica of the "flip table" used in the GMC but with the Co-op twist, it has new colors.  A very convienant unit if you are looking to install captains chairs and take out your dinette.  Each table is custom built with your colors.  Lead time is @ 1 week and they cost $250 plus shipping.  An easy install with 2 or 4 screws.

Alternator light circuit kit.

OK, this is not an option-- you have to have this or else!  Your coach is at risk, at risk of melting the chassis wire harness from within.  We here at the Co-op want to help you and to that end offer this retrofit kit to repair the wire harness problem.  Go to Information and read about the Alternator light circuit repair kit.  There you will find a full explanation of the wiring problem and complete instructions on how to repair it.  The parts are available at your local Radio Shack or we will send it to you for only $5.

Make it yourself or get it from us, but do it.  OK, you have been warned, don't dry to us when we have to charge you many hundreds of dollars to repair your wiring harness when it could have been saved for only $5.  Tough words but this is important!  I hate people who use "doom & gloom" when talking about products but I'll risk being one for this issue.  NO, a diode in line to the alternator DOES NOT bypass the circuit, you MUST bypass the issue all together and that is what I am telling you to do---- OK,ok, I'll shut up now.

LED readout Systems monitor retrofit

Tired of wondering if that needle on the old systems monitor is really telling you something?  Tired of walking into a pile of doodee in the bathroom floor because the holding tank was full and you washed too many    Go to Systems Monitor for more on this part.

Halon Fire Suppression

Yes, Halon 1211 is the most effective fire suppression chemical for vehicle application, its required by NASCAR and demanded by anyone serious about protecting their coach from fire damage.  It takes an instant for a coach to ignite beyond help and will burn to the ground so quickly it will scare you-- it should-- fire on the road is a very serious thing!

For years, we have been looking for the right system, a reliable, passive, automatic, simple system that will economically protect our classic coach from fire dangers at both the generator compartment as well as the engine compartment.  I am pleased to report to you that we have found it.  Fire Fight supplies custom fire suppression systems mainly for the auto racing industry.  Go to Fire ext. for more information.
