……a % of my day will be spent staying warm!
For all of you wannabe classic RV owners………make very sure you expectations, reality and what you think can happen! Please, all that will happen if you don’t do the understanding on what a 45 year old motorhome can offer you. There are 45 years of good intentions on everything from lug nuts to toilets could be made better…..wrongly!
NEVER buy one of these without putting YOUR eyes on it! And NEVER have it trucked to you…..drive it home damit!
So now we have someone who “I’ve bought alote of things on Ebay, I’ve got no problem doing this”. And guess what….. It’s the classic, an unhappy person. I tried to tell them…..we have offered stories and even videos on this.
Sorry guys if you are exposed to this…..you know me, I stand up if there is a problem…..this is an owner created problem. Be happy to discuss this if it comes up but just let it roll off and get the facts…… No further wasting time on this……
I am and I hope you are into these because of the coach itself, what it represents and what’s needed to be a good steward for the coach.
“Budgets” have to do with the amount of investment you want to put into one of these…..that has nothing however to do with what 45 years has done to the machine and what it’s going to take to bring it to a minimum reliable condition like and machine you must rely upon.
Doing some mechanical things and leave others “to do it yourself”….. Brother be sure you follow through because until you do it all you have a problem waiting to screw you!
After the rubberized undersea put in the EM-50 firewall, Ricky neatly fitted a sound and heat barrier material on the firewall and floorboard to add more insulation up front. Another coach here was exposed to the same idea but with different consequenceseven painted black its still not as good a look!
Oops, it’s 8am, my day is on……ill post more later……..have a great day
