Yes, lets…. so after watching a special on MSNBC last night disecting the recent stock market craziness one thing they said that makes me feel better than I did in 2008 (I have no dog in the fight… don’t have a portfolio to invest… but this time it was not credit crap from within rather now something is happening which all of us who have lost a job to manufacturing migration to China…. there’re now taking a dump…I promised to not bring religion, politics or the economy here that we all need a place to hide away from all that somewhere but…
Still though you guys who watch all that need to think a minute… that mad stock guy says it’s not over and expect to loose another 20% of value before the free fall is over. OK then capitulate…. yeah, take 20% out right now and put everything in something that makes no profit to speak of but is safe.. safe… safe. Then that that money and buy a vintage RV and have it totally done to your spec. Hey, if all the prognostigators say no body’s going to make any money for a while, take your loss now… invest that lost cash into something to make you happy and IF things go from bad to worst…. your motohome can be your ultimate “exit strategy”… ie. bugout vehicle bucause after that the zombies will come, great time to go camping! And on that note…
Now put THOSE facts into your portfolio and see what smokes! Hey, better yet, I’ll sell shares of stock in Copperative Motor Works and you can hedge that stock market investment and support something you really like! I’m not planning a IPO anytime soon but you can get in on the ground floor of an emerging or maybe a better description a reawakening popular transportation market. Hey it’s true! I’m still not saying you can make money flipping these things but if the best you can do is loose… I can support a better plan than that! Nuff said, I won’t quit my day job and become an investor don;t worry but why not, no ones crystal ball is working right now…
Now that we’ve salved all of our economic woes, lets take on world peace!
Wanted to show you why the 1/2″ gap between the body and frame is so important. We have a body pad kit for $50 that fixed this issue. It’s something that happens to us all, after years of pressure we get crushed, yep that’s pretty much it. There must be a space to route brake, air, gas lines and wirinf over the frame but under the body itself, I mean you can’t go under the frame with that stuff! That fact plus the fact that your fuel tanks are suspended from the frame and iff the body comes in contact hard with them the hoses on the top of the tanks get crushed…. like this or this
or this
because this happened
or this
with this one completely falling out. The aluminum body here is sitting right on top of the ladder frame!
So when your rear wheel brake line gives up like this one did, will you be in a place you could fix it like this
You can clearly see in that last pic how the old brake line had rusted right there after probably wear weakened the tube and a new brake line was put to the “T” fitting.
What do you do about this and I’m pretty much saying unless you have already addressed this you have the affliction… go look…. What do you do? Like I said before, a 1/2″ thick, 20 pad body pad isolation kit from us will assure you that 1/2″ gap needed for all those lines and hoses— you also know your LP lines (a 1/2″ copper line) uses this gap… Will cost you only $50 to know your fuel lines won’t get crushed, your air and brake lines too. You will “decouple” the body from the frame so less vibration is transmitted between them… look up acoustic decoupling…. and all for @ 3.5 hours time and $50. Come on guys, just because you can’t see this problem from the drivers seat does not mean you don;t have the problem ! I will tell you every coach we put up on our lift we find things like this
if they are still in there at all
OK, that’s enough of the switch, here is one of our body pads adhered to the body and frame doing it’s thing
and giving space like this
Much is going on at the shop, put body pads on James coach yesterday…. and the beat goes on…
