I am a new owner of a 1976 needs a lot of work. I purchased it 300 miles from my home. Put new tires on it and tried to drive it home. About 200 mi in I lost my fuel pump otherwise I ran great. After a $300 tow I went home with my Chase car got any fuel pump from Napa installed it got 10 miles down the road when it failed brand new. Do you have any recommendations for an electric fuel pump for this vehicle?

The highest failure component in electronics are relays and motors. If you still run a carb, reinstall a new mechanical pump, there are a few other things to do. If you have fuel injection, check your filters to see if they are clogged taxing the electric pump. Good luck, call if I can help further. 321.299.5707
