Vintage RV & Motorhome restorations - "The GMC Coop"

It’s a Friday…… After 4 days 10 hours long, this day is to recover…….

………. I went by the shop to feed Eleganza and found 4 guys in there working!  I hope some of the stuff they’re doing is for them…… I guess though with 5 guys living in their GMC’s at the shop there’ll probably always be someone there!

Looking back at the week, a couple of interesting things went on.  We removed this tire carrier to upgrade the receiver hitch.  This is one of the thru bumper hitches that puts your pull centered in the bumper not under as it was…….sorry for the dark pic ….the reason I brought this up was a previous owner had put a receiver hitch under the bumper that actually didn’t look too bad………until we got down too it.there was a single row weld on this rig across the rear Crossmember.  Had the bumper plate hanging off it too!  Guys, go check your receiver hitch.  Be sure it is supported to more than the thin end Crossmember………….

Custom wiring continues here, Robert I is wiremaster of this project……this will be a remote relay harness…..stay tuned as this system comes together…………

Well I guess for a day off I still spent time here, what can I say.  Tomorrow will bring more stuff to do and it just keeps rolling.   Thanks for being a part of this, I appreciate your support. Did a new video this morning on putting a descent AC in your dash…..well explained what’s involved……should be out soon.

See ya later
