If they say this was as bad a hurricane as they say……the infrastructure here has become stronger…..

……….. And yes, the communication system is up…….we had the eye pass over us……calm, no breeze and everything. I’ve been there before but for many this would be a bucket list thing……… The back side of this is still with us. The house lost power @ 2am, breakfast is being rustled up via this portable noise maker

@ $1.2 an hour, 5 hour on, 5 off. Propane water heater and a tub full of water…….we can poop! And it looks that JayGee is going to stand down…….this is looking ok!

Its a warm feeling to know he’s there waiting for me………….

The guys had the shop ready

as i was saying before, we store 6 big limo buses which are great…..highly insured wind blocks here in the front

Our scrap pile is safe.

I caught Jason inside working on this project

He’s ripping the AGC fuse harness out by the rroots….guess it’s where it needs to be for a while…..inside!

wwow…..just saw a limb fall in the back yard! Firewood!

THAT was worth waiting for! Wasn’t that big……..

So that’s about it, I haven’t seen the news on how the rest of the state fared and what’s left to terrorize you guys up north but I’m feeling much better down here. My guess is Jason worked into the night on that coach. Ahhhh, I remember those days………. So my job is to keep the beast making noise another 3 1/2 hours and then we’ll see what’s next.

Thanks for checking on us, I appreciate the support
