Vintage RV & Motorhome restorations - "The GMC Coop"

You are here: Home / The Daily Pose / I feel like I was shot out of a cannon this week!………

October 15, 2021

I feel like I was shot out of a cannon this week!………

………..looks like next week it looks like our Q (yes, I should spell it Que, looks like it’s turned into a thing…..kinda like why the Heck did I call it “The Daily Pose”.  Did I screw up because I pushed E instead of the T.  I really DID think of a stop action discussion of everything going on…… Non scripted and a look into the shop.  Or was I thinking of the superficial daily post.  I’ll leave it to you……..our UPS driver (Santa) brought Jason a new toy.  What is it?  As we are completely rewiring the engine electrical system installing a GM specific ATC FUSE panel….. We have options to rethink main dash components like the steering column.we had played with this before matching a new column to the original harness.  Now that we’re looking at the issue more holistically we can put a complete electrical system and driver controls.  Here’s the extracted original steering column that we’re putting down.the key had been popped out, the tilt universal was loose and I thing the emergency flasher switch wasn’t right.

Our goal with this project is to design and document a complete harness replacement with all new components…..steering column and all!  Stay tuned……..

The first appearance in the brave new world of Instagram was interesting and different.  Live like I do these videos I don’t have the time to structure thinks i talk about spontaneously.  But don’t worry, I want to keep the feeling that’s drawn us to do this….. I know, I’ve fielded comments like why get deeper into the mouth of the internet beast!  I get that but let’s see if this format may afford more communication….hey, let’s see together, your comments are being listened to so hit me…..

Lincoln, we successfully pulled your windshields.  Robert was the lead extractor.  Why did we do that?  Working with the dash it came out to a bucket of plastic pieces…..pulling the glass gave us access to all sides of what we are getting ready to do……stay tuned, I KNOW Lincoln will be watching……

Finally, who has made such a difference inour video production both in quantity and quality?.Scarlett is heading our new push into the internet world.  Blame her when you can’t hear me!  Of course you can see Eleganza hovers as executive producer.  Give us more ideas, we want to do it all……..

So why am I posting a full blown POSE on Friday?  I guess so much went on I wanted?to make sure we keep in touch.  Alright, I’m outa here……. and who knows, more stuff may squeeze out…..Ricky is at Biketoberfest over in Daytona…..hope he has some pics…… Snowflake has a couple of codes so Ralph came back still supporting our parts chasing.

Snowflake is Elly approved thoughshe is ready to go!  Not yet babysee ya later……..
