Happy Sunday……… Janie and I had been at the beach, summer in Florida…..

The blast doors have been propped open into the sauna……

Dang….tried to post a pic….. ?Blast this dang phone!  I’ll try and get this fixed soon.

Here’s a pic I had before this thing spazed out….

Anyway, Mutcedes there is on the road…..and I have pictorial proof if I can post it!

The guys are thinking about going to “night shift” because of the heat.  You know, why didn’t we at least consider that “back in the day”.  I would have tried it….just like us going to the “4 day work week” when we moved into the bigger facility.  I’ll have to whole heartedly agree it being one of the more exciting changes in my work life.

Hey, we were MEN….. we wore dirty closes, cause we know we would be nasty!  How about cleaning the Crap out of something before toughing it if nothing more than to cut back on laundry detergent.  Hey, it works!Brilliant!  Clean it first…..its so simple, makes for a nice finished product

There are other things of course….like all that other stuff in there on top of the other clean stuff.  I’d have to say after looking back at the growth of this business that we are now attending to more details than I ever thought possible!

You know but really….. it’s not happening “just because you can” like it is in the hotrod world.  Money is thrown at doing stuff that frankly, have little bearing on much of anything other than coolseriously, putting a GMC front frame clip onto the back of a 1976 Mercedes 450SL may look and sound …… Well, add your word but with so much work to install a drive train complete into a GMC, the liability that EVERYTHING touched in a vintage rebuilt and upfit works perfectly……its too scary to put it all in BEFORE knowing……that it works! So that’s why this “tool” was created.  Yes it’s fun but without knowing it all works BEFORE it goes in ….anyone would have to anticipate time spent in setting up and checking the drive train.  Hey, do a little before it’s in or a pile of it after its in.  We take @ 5 hours of real time to set up a motor and drive train over normal time on the project.  We have proven this is time well spent.

So, did you get a weekend fix outa that?  It was good for me!  The beach was great and I want to go back againbut let’s not forget the focus of why we are here together

See ya later……
