………No need to call….we did that On purpose……. On restoring these dashes that are literally falling to pieces, there are some GMC enthusiasts who have been coming up with some very timely options.
With the ABS plastic dash bases going away……. Up to today the option of rigging up the plastic to give it “one more whirl” is all but gone as an option.
In steps a complete dash replacement with matching safe panels is a real option. These new specialty molds being made are very custom and worthy of our fitting them into our restorations……..to the point we all agree that we need to rewind that logic ….. not just talk about this option most all off our restorations are going to……we are having the manufacturer (the enthusiast ) to come by and together let’s look are how it fits together. Actually the next 3 coaches in our Q are going for his dashes so who better to hear from and introduce it to us all.
So stay tuned for that……..now is the time for such considerations……more videos to come, keep with comments, thanks
……….. I’m flying out to recover a coach for a close friend Sunday so I couldn’t let Eleganza suffer…….. And I left the window down so she could look at the cars go by
……. Heah, pull in up beside the car at a traffic light……see always seems to impress
had a couple of comments on this pic. No, that’s not some fancy hose……someone stuck the lower and upper together…….nothing to see here……move on…….
Hey, good eyes. Boy, you guys are really paying attention! Well ok then…….where ya been……
So our replacement video will REALLY be up to date…….. Thanks for the community interest….stay tuned.
So I’ll be back in time for next week’s videos so well see ya then………
