…………. Owning and keeping any motorhome on point ready to work for you is a struggle especially for a 45 year old machine. If you do not believe that take your GMC to any new RV and see what they say!
So now you take your baby to Bubba and Scooter who could not pass the tests. Do you really think someone working on a GMC for the first time can do a timely repair? Good luck.
Social networking is for like minded people to share ideas not to rig it for the next time it breaks. There are shops that do that wether they tell you are not.
Your GMC is a unique machine, there is NOTHING made by man that lasts this long and still works! Don’t cheapen your coach, cheap …..fast work is just that. Taking your coach to someone who knows what to do with it will always come out with a better outcome. May cost more than you though, they key is was it a fair job. A good job is a fair job to both.
The Co-op has been doing this motorhome and dealing with everything about it for over 20 years, do you really want to do something less for something you must rely upon……thats THAT old?
Off my soap box now but there’s a reason we are buried with work. I’m not downing anyone else, just do the right thing for your coach.
