Life is a complete mixture of all the things that make you up…. today is bike week in nearby Daytona and even though I don’t see myself as a “HOG”, I now do have a Harley and in that that many bikes in a concentrated area always spill out, a morning ride today is a sort of must.
So there I am, stopping half way into a 35 mile scoot for a 16oz… not a 20 Coke and 1 not the 2 for a buck…. no, I want 1 bag of salted peanuts. What’s that? Well, you take the peanuts, take a swig of Coke… pour them into the Coke and well…. it’s probably one of those southern things…. I’m enjoying the crisp morning sunrise…. and the phone rings!
Seems that her ignition went out. So on the side of the road I’m leading her how to replace the module and coild to regain ignition. So I do have a little time…. I’m off the road now at the shop so we can continue working the issue… be right back…
So sitting here, I’m …. BTW, I just misread and pushed some wrong buttons on Facebook… then I got a pile of supporters asking me what drugs I was on….. none but still sorry about that. Thank all of you who support the GMC dealer network…. that means you care….
I will still say yes, you can buy really cheap stuff, and good stuff on Amazon. It’s hard to resist and to be honest, anything you can you should buy there but the GMC specialty dealer focus on stuff you can’t get everything and if the prices are comparable I would ask you to support whoever you feel comfortable with and buy from us. THIS though are some things we offer that you just can’t buy on Amazon…..
Like how to take this . do this
then made this
which we made this from
And we’ve done that over and over
Hey so buy that on Amazon! Don’t be so self centered to think you are the only one you need in keeping your coach on the road and take care of those who take care of you. I hope that’s all that needs to be said, I appreciate your support and you know I will do all I can to help…. find that too on Amazon. Buy what you want, where you want but remember there is much more than price
and
Still working with Marylin, talk to ya tomorrow… and it looks like I’ll have to disclose deeper this stupid situation we’re having… see ya tomorrow…
Jim,
Bob DeRose here, I stopped by 2 weeks ago from the frozen North while vacationing in Fla! Thanks for all your support and the daily blogs-they keep me going while I toil away on my 76 Eleganza. The new shop is fantastic, thanks for the tour, will be nice to work inside when it rains. Owning and renewing an old motorhome like the GMC is not for the faint of heart, hidden problems raise their ugly heads and must be addressed, especially safety related ones like brakes and bearings. It all takes time and money to do it right; you are not running a charity shop, you are running a business, and owners must realize this, having had my own business for 20 years I know how the overhead can kill ya!
As the temps rise here in the North I will be getting back to the exterior of my GMC. Could you tell me exactly the brand and type of body filler you use-I know know you said to use an epoxy but I’m not sure which brand.
Thanks again, Bob
