I see by my magic ball I already have 263 people lurking around the page this morning… the vision I get are stray cats hanging out for the morning feed… could be Cedric over in the UK ending his day, insomniacs of which I am one and just maybe early risers looking for some GMC content to start the day. For whatever reason you guys are out there, welcome and good morning. The west coasters will hit the ranks a little later so lets try and put out some fodder this morning to get the day going.
I’ve tried for a couple of days to catch up onto current events at the shop but with all the crap I’m having to sift through with this issue with James… heck I have to split my time.
Guys really, I don’t want to even think he’s feeling his best plan is to ignore everyones insistence for him to clean up this mess… if so you can’t help but think he and maybe others feel it’s OK to take advantage of the GMC community good nature for their gains. I’m not as yet saying that as long as we can deal with it now.
It stinks but it’s kinda like fund raising on NPR… it’s a necessary evil that you have to put up with the get the programming you want. But listen, those that feel strongly about it have an obligation to help solve this. Hey, if it’s me show me…. I take no pleasure in this but fair is fair and I didn’t get into the GMC motorhome to rip folks off…
So like that NPR fund drive, puck up the phone, your keyboard and make a difference…. it was you that got him to contact me the first time and it looks it will be you who has to push for the next move.
If you want to help but do not know who James is, call me. Or better yet, contact him and have him call me….. this has to be dealt with and in the open.
OK, enough of today’s appeal… how about some of that GMC stuff to clog our arteries. It must because everything else I like is said to do that!
I’ve been wanting to post this pic, bye to Julie and Tyrone as they head back to North Carolina in their Explorer restored GMC
A great couple with a coach that has serviced them well. Being used to the road doing to pottery circuit with their hand made wares for decades, they know how to “roll that ball” on the highway. Keeping the coach up so it can do their bidding, Julie and Tyrone save up their issues for a trip to Florida where they swing by for a tweeking.
We also had a full timer drop by, travelling solo with he 2 small dogs, this is what it’s all about full timing in a GMC taking in the country
I protect names of full timers, I’m told it’s not good for lurkers to know full timers location details. She doesn’t normally sport dirty knees but all day we went over the coach with her, letter her do some of the maintenance and maybe learn more about her vehicle and home. We had a great time and I think she got a lote out of the day. I invite anyone to drop by, spend the day and a night on the house…. learn about your coach and the community. The shop is at:
6101 Anno Ave.
Orlando, Fl. 32809
We have 11 , 50 amp outlets on the north side of our building, shaded from the sun. Your first night is free with a $10 donation you can hang longer or get some work and hang free while work is getting done. Hey, please don’t abuse that…. Really, we invite you to come.
Another service we’re going to start up is an affiliation with a wholesale auto dealer to offer higher quality, ready to run coaches for sale. This will be a consignment place were folks looking for finished coaches can come and get a descent cross section of coaches in proper mechanical condition and a finished look can have their coaches seen. We here at the Co-op have always felt being an objective 3ed party in a purchase or sale is how we can help mose… and I still do. Partnering with a dealer who can do all the correct paperwork is important and we have someone that can help.
Give me a call if you have a nice and I mean really nice coach for sale or if that’s what you’re looking for call too. 321-299-5707. I’ll put you in tough with the folks you need to talk to.
.
We currently have 9 nice coaches for sale here so give me a call if you’re looking. Mixed in are also coaches that are very close to finished this one only needing an exterior refinish with the roof already done and sealed
We want to help more than just telling what to look for but showing you some nice coaches that make sense. Each will have a mechanical review done giving you what we see as needing to be done. We can have the transaction brokered, help with whatever the coach needs and help you understand how to best maintain your investment. There IS “a legitimate income derived from helping people” which is what our business plan motto has been from the beginning 19 years ago so now, let us help you just a little more make your best decision.

Moving on, yesterday I delivered a coach to Chuck C. over in Deltona near Orlando.
(lemme process some pics…. be right back)
Back, and this was a fun part of my day yesterday. I love seat time, especially in a really nice driving coach… I don’t need to go far and in this case it was only a 45 minute drive but still it was a blast The project was delivering this coach to it’s owner
Chuck is finishing off the interior himself …. walls, floor, cabinets etc. but the exterior and mechanicals are done
Ando today I get to ride. Let me list a few of the fun toys contained in this place:
Our 403 roller cam motor, 3:55 gears, Manny tranny, Quad bag rear suspension 18″ Aluminum rims, our new wireless head cruise control, an awesome Nac dash, Ramco electroc mirrors, our new seats, a rear camera and 7″ screen, Blue tooth radio…. MAN it’s a rocket!!!!
So just look at the dash candy with the steering wheel mounted cruise control Man, isn’t that symmetry art? And check out the gauge readings at 60mph
You call that “5-by-5″…. strong vacuum, good oil pressure, RPM’s right in the power band, alternator output 14.1, cruise set and I’m lovin life!
The scenery was no slouch eather going over the St John’s River in Sanford you can see why we’ll be putting in new windshields after he gets his interior done We do the windshields clers to last… makes no difference doing it during paint… Rolling along with cruise on, this week is Daytona Bike Week and they were everywhere
Check out the rider checking the coach out.
I had a eye on my toed Suzuki with the radio playing tunes while tied to the rear camera… very nice.
So all in I I had a great ride, delivered the coach to Chuck… forgot to take any more pics….oops but take it from me… it was a great drive . Dang I got long winded this morning….. goes to show ya we’re feeln good around here. Guys help me with James, there’s still a chance to get him back in the fold….. I can’t believe he’s the monster it seems and you full times are not the people that this things makes you look like. lets all get together on this, James didn’t understand and now he should. It’s human to make a mistake, what keeps us human is admitting when you make a mistake. Don’t hide man, stand up and it will be OK.
Gotta go, see ya tomorrow….
.
Tell us more about the 18″ rims.
Where’d they come from?
What tires did he use?
Why can’t we enlarge the photos? 😉
I’m pretty sure the “18” inch wheels is a typo. Pretty sure he ment 16 inch. Jim treats typos as a part of life and just moves on.
First time post. I like the snazzy new site but missed the old classified section, so thanks for the sales end of things update.
Chuck is a lucky guy. She is a beauty.
I have a question “not that this is a forum” BUT…. I have looked around for information on driving a 26′ with chains into mountain resorts for snowboarding. I have found zip, zero, nada on the subject. Any guidance on that subject would be greatly appreciated, as that will be one of the duties of my next coach.
Thanks
