GMC driver sliders are here

The headline this morning was sort of a spoiler alert I know… kinda kills the plot but doing it this way allows the web crawlers to find it.  Act like you didn’t read that and allow me to show the excitement I had yesterday…. afterall it’s about the chase… right?

As all stories start off… It was turning out to be just another day in the jungle when the phone rang…..

OK, I’ll stop the prose but the phone did ring and the word was a big shipment had just come in at my suppliers warehouse so I fired up ole Larry for a pickup.

With his ability to blow it’s bags and put it’s rear door on the ground makes it a great parts getter  Driver-slider-window-in-6  No need for “dock hi” loading, Larry is a ground loader and yea, all of that is going in Driver-slider-window-in-5  Pulling up to the shop and again dropping the back I had to wiggle my way out the side door Driver-slider-window-in-4  Larry was filled floor to headliner with a beautiful sight Driver-slider-window-in-3  Filled with 25 sets of driver and passenger top to bottom slider windows.  Over $20,000 worth of glass.. but what a window!

Ever gotten tired of bending your head down to talk to someone out the window while driving?  Guess GM figured it was good enough for a Greyhound bus it would be good enough for the GMC motorhome…. wrong!!!!!  It was the first thing I saw on the coach that was sort of goofy. Driver-A-frame-2 And for 22 years I still say the same thing…..

Not anymore!

Here is the new “A frame window” for your GMC:  Driver-slider-window-in-7

And here it is open:  Driver-slider-window-in-1

You can see by the reflection this custom cut, colored, curved and tempered glass it is hi tech heat rejection stuff…. no more heat lamp on the side of your head!  And when open, part of your world can come in… no neck cramps… no “what did you say”… no more getting our cause you couldn’t reach the toll basket or the keypad!

Cost is $450 each side or both sides for $850.  Call Shirley and get your order in.  We are watching for the all new sleeved butyl gasket but by golly the windows are now here!  Not a cheaply build window sold at the price of a quality one… no sir this is the best window money can buy for this application offered at an affordable price.

Please spread the word, we have 25 sets and want to get more… “getm-while-they’re-hot.

There now… wasn’t that fun?  This is a project I’ve lusted after for decades and it’s now a reality.  Would like to thank many in the community pushing me to bring this idea to market.  And now we have them in stock.  We will be doing installs for you to see as soon as the new gasket material arrives…. stay tuned..

I have new on another front but that can come tomorrow.  Lemme give you a taste of more things to come.  Another delivery came in by truck freight yesterday…. 3 wooden crates 1-ton-twice-22 of the boxes have something awesome 1-ton-twice-1 and one is something turbo awesome

Diesel-25Lets talk about this stuff tomorrow…. see ya then.
