I’m going to go back and add the “For Sale” explaination on that page but before I do that I wanted to do a little business and show one of a countertop we’re putting together for Bill D. interior.
This is a 23′ Birchaven rear bath and Bill would like to see a routed wood edging on his laminate countertop to match the original Birchaven cabinets .
Our shop foreman Pete has the 411 on wrapping wood edging You can see here he’s taping off the laminate top to keep down damage doing the final routing staining and finishing process for the wood trim. Dave, one of our new guys in trim routed the edge
and here’s a closeup… note the drop down edge of the wood mating up to the laminate…. nice man…
Now stained, Dave will allow the stain to gas off a bit then apply a satin finish to the hardwood… I mean afterall, this IS the table edge! Hey Bill, it may be your coach but that’s OUR countertop!!
Guys, go back to yesterday’s post… I’m finishing my thought on buying or selling coaches. I’ll come back here when I finish there…. hopefully!.
OK, I’m back but the day is on, this point IO think was made. There are many different finishes available on countertops. Solid surface is very popular today but banding wood like we did is also a lower cost nice alternative.
We’ll see ya tomorrow….
