GMC a stroll through the park

Listen, I had another really important topic to babble about this morning… namely the effect of these energy prices on the vintage RV craze.  In one sentence “NOW what excuse can you come up with not to have one of these!!!!!” but I’ll get into that tomorrow…. maybe not but who knows….

This morning I had a delightful thing happen to me… something that was never possible until Co-op 2.0 occurred.  Coming in at my usual crack of midnight, I’ve been getting used to opening the building door and WHAM…. it hits me in the face, a descent temperature.  The building height seems to hold in enough warmth from the day to keep the interior of the building still a descent working place!  Hey, and I can flip on some lights and have a lighted working environment!!!!

OK, maybe I do need a little more ice tea (don’t drink coffee… yeah, I know…) but I did just that… flipped on some lights and took a “stroll through the park” maybe.  I’m not meaning that self centered as much as it was a very interesting looksee at all of the things that are going on that I’m now not directly on.  I tell ya, we are having team members come in talented and ready to make their mark!

Let me show you what I’m talking about and let me also say that once in a while it might interest you guys to take a walk with me in the garden, our garden of neat stuff.  let me know if this is a good “episode” excuse please… and if you don’t like it… as in a good friend’s vernacular…. Bugger out Mate….

Here’s episode 1 of a “Walk in the Park”:

A chiller 45 in Florida means frozen fingers to work with or should I say used to….early 30 I unlocked the door of to me is Disney World, Universal and Kennedy Space Center all wrapped up in one and I was alone in there.  Sounds like a Twightlight Zone plot but here it was so I had better start getting used to it.  Going over to flip on a few lights I passed the rear hatch mold we made from Larry’s government        modification  Larry-back-door-5  1.19.16-stroll-1.I tell ya it’s just so good to have all this stuff under roof now.  And then on to the main light switches the 600 amp power service panels just give me a warm feeling 1.19.16-stroll-2

Now understand you need a dimension to this picture…. lets just say the sil of that window is 6′ from the floor….. I can reach flux capacitor critical mass in here!!!  Hey Emit, get over here….!

Anyway.. sorry….  I’ll not turn everything on, just the areas we’ll go.  Oh man, the 57 Bel-Air limo project is underway  57-Chevy-limo-1This is some of our new capabilities…  this car was stretched using the original GM limo set ups and hardware from a actual GM limo from the day.  An original electric window mechanism taken from a limo is used going up front 57-Chevy-limo-6  Hey and dig that crazy limo theme…   This is a total exterior restoration… not ours, yet but hey, the bucks were spent 57-Chevy-limo-3.if you know what I mean  57-Chevy-limo-2 and our part will be the interior… here’s the dash 57-Chevy-limo-4  hey, ever wondered what’s under the floor in your limo?  57-Chevy-limo-5  Yep, an air condition evaporator…. so Ray and the guys are after that thing.

Hey look, there’s Janies coach  1.19.16-stroll-8 with all the interior pieces all laid out in a neat row….. I get shivers…….. and right next to it Chuck’s coach is getting it’s final QC with Hank taking it for a drive first thing after traffic  ….. holy crap we did it!  1.19.16-stroll-7  Nice machine!!!!

On the inside of Janies.. well no longer, her coach now is being really taken to the next level by Bill D.. I did the mechanicals not for me but for my wite.. and you know you just don’t want the thing to break down…. and we set up comfortable for us without spending a bunch… hey, you know the plumbers pipes leak and all that… the coach was descent enough as it was to not get kicked out of the RV park TSII-show-2 but as it happens with some of you, we got overexcited and the truth is having a glamour king like JayGee as our flagship we just didn’t need and could not keep up 2 nace machines so the flag was pulled back to GayGee JayGee-new-paint-12 and with Bill wanting an awesome 23′ coach I agreed to build her coach for him.  Wow, the inside is apart, heck I used to sleep in there 1.19.16-stroll-6  hey and I put that Mac dash in myself 1.19.16-stroll-5  like I said, we’re taking this 77 rear bath Birchaven to the next level so stay tuned.

Like I was telling ya man, a walk in THIS park is a blast!

Coming back from those projects I run into Bill S. coach where we’re doing a snapshot on where we are and what’s next on this recent purchase coach . 1.19.16-stroll-4  and then there is really good recent purchase coach 1.19.16-stroll-3 that we’re getting into top mechanical condition with a few interior creature comforts for a new full time camper owner.  This is going to be a great build too, stay tuned for it.

See, man it’s a blast just hanging out here before work… was a little long… and your point, sorry but I have been known to do that…. hey and don’t ask me a question bout something unless you want it all!  I know but what can I do!  Look, thanks for dropping by, hope it was interesting and let me know you liked today.  Not doing this everyday but heu, once in a while.. I just wanted to tell and show you how our world down here in Florida is changing.  I feel for the good so we’ll see ya tomorrow… .

Hi Jim, were you going to make the pictures are clickable (like the old days) so you can see details? For those of us with dimming vision, it’s hard to make things out.
    Best,
    Ron
