Boy, it’s amazing how manning a booth at an AARP event for Fire Fight slows you down! Being a board member for the organization, Janie knew I needed to get away and after that, a Pastrami sandwich at a Kosher Deli well, who could stay mad at the world after that…
So further proof “you get by with a little help from your friends” I will get through this…. thanks Paul, Nelson, Scott, John, Jay, and so many more…. you guys are right, this is a petty, small speedbump in the racetrack we’re on… that bump in the road will be addressed properly and at the end of the day will be as petty as the person who perpetrated it. There’s no reason to give him any more platform than he has because that’s all he’ll ever get so from here it’s down hill for him and people like him in our community.
Really, I’d like to thank you all…. this company has been an oasis for me mostly insulating me from the rest of the mean, cruel world out there. The GMC community is not made up of folks like that and will not “live and let live” people like that. I’ve seen it time and again someone surfaces in our community…. they cause problems…. “You’re causing negative vibrations man, chill out” as a phrase pulled from a classic movie. Those folks do not last, for whatever reason they are seen through and are not allowed into this community. So I’m trusting that the past will continue and these young full timers that come to us, which BTW we are so inviting which is the problem, they need to keep in mind we are aware of the nefarious (how bout THAT for a big word) nefarious people they may be dragging into our group they need to be clear with us where they stand on Ebeggers, scams, living off of others generosity, etc. because we do not want those people near us.
This is what the GMC community needs to keep in mind and the full timer community needs to police their own a bit. You will not be welcome bringing low lifes into our group.
This will be the last you and I who make up the GMC enthusiast group will hear about this situation. With so many people supporting the situation and vowing not to let it go unanswered, it will be handled. One very smart guy, I don’t want to say who because he would prefer I didn’t “when you are dealing with something that defies logic and has no ethics, it’s a waste of time trying to use logic and ethics to address this problem. There are further remidies for that so just let those things take care of it. Don’t let this harden you because in the end it will be taken care of” and guys I want to tell you I’m listening and that’s what we’ll do.
I’m not going to bore us all further with any more of this…. the GMC and full timer communities both have been alerted, the information is totally available so lets just all take it from there. Mant times low lifes will seemingly get away with their deeds by keeping their heads low and finally things loose momentum and everyone says what the heck….. but really somewhere up in that big cosmic soup things are put into motion that will lead those involved to their just deserve so lets do that. It’s going to happen anyway and there’s less we can do so let just let it take care of itself.
WOW you say, where did that southern red neck get that epiphany? Hey, it’s all of you out there… we have something going on here way bigger than any of that so why waste time… lets get back out there and have some fun…
OK so it’s Saturday.. my day… and yep, I’m here at the shop……… perfect. I have a date with Janie later today.. it may involve a moterscooter ride… I mean this IS the last day of Daytona Bike Week and I have a brand new… never worn “Cool Joe Camel 1992 Bike Week T shirt to wear!
This morning I have the job of putting back the distributer I stole from my coach Larry to send to a gal broken down in Bubba and Scooterland them saying the distributer was bad and it would be $500 to replace it. I yanked Larry’s firestick so I KNEW there would be nothing wrong with the overnite delivery of her care package. I’m making Larry whole again and I’m taking him to convey home the core parts of my old companion my 1975 Honda Goldwing I’ve had for over 25 years. He passed away and my new GL1000 has many organs already from the donor. I have a duty to take care of the precious pieces left to keep “Stevieboy” , my red Goldwing on the road.
Hey, this is GMC stuff…… I’m givin some love to Larry aren’t I?
.so pardon me while I work hard today.. no fun just all hard work…. guys please try this at home… it’s a blast!
We’ll see ya tomorrow… yes Sunday, we’ve got someone passing through Orlando that wanted to drop by…. hey, no problem and I think they are staying the night. See ya later andoh yea
Viva la GMC
