GMC A “Mac Daddy” dash in

Come on James, call me.  It’s all you need to do— 8

………………………………………..

Was working on Larry and JayGee this weekend.  Larry-under-hoods-3  Having the underhood clean just makes me feel good Larry-under-hoods-2  Larry-under-hoods-1

But that’s not what todays thing is about.  I thought I would show you around 4 of the MacNeil “Mac Daddy” dash we have here at the shop.  First, this one was installed in Cal’s coach at a Western States rally a couple of years ago….. I think it was at the 2nd Mariposa rally.  Mac-Daddy-dash-1  A burl dash panel, white faced gauges with a flip out 7″ lcd screen radio.  Cal also has the 18″ “Big Boy” steering wheel  black leather, burl and chrome…. I think Binford may also offer this wheel!  Wrapped in light taupe, it looks grey here.

This next dash IS light grey with a double DIN LCD screen radio, a lighter burl, white face gauges and sure could look better with a new steering wheel.  Still a good looker…Mac-Daddy-dash-2.  Both of these coaches are late models.  Next is another late model dash, burl again bezels with black face gauges… btw, the speedometers are all GPS driven.  Will have a double DIN radio.Mac-Daddy-dash-3This next is in a 1974… early model coach  A pretty flashy light oak bezel color, blacj face gauges will have another double DIN radio and will end up with this steering wheel 16-in-Lois  blue vinyl wrap Mac-Daddy-dash-4 This dash is in this coach Ron-body-mold-1Now this “Mac Daddy” dash in not his only offering,  there are a pile of good looking original bezel shape dashes White oak white face  .  Steve-dash-out-of-box  Tom-Mac-dash-1  Ingo-dash-9  Dash done pana 1  Burke-dash-2

Mel-dash-10  and now Mac has a good looking new dash…. take a look

5-dashes-Soda-1-1  5-dashes--scott-18  a first new design in a decade 5-dashes--scott-15  Mac has been like that Valiant Tailor pumping these dashes out for us for over 20 years….. you can’t beat the stuff he makes and I love to install them.

Costs are from @ $950-1600.  Not cheap but these are not cheap dashes.  Hey, just close your eyes and write the check!  Install labor is @ 10-15 hours.  If you would like more information give me a call.

OK, it just turned dawn, I’d like to get an early start so we’ll see ya tomorrow.   Thanks for your visit & your support  We’ll see ya tomorrow…
