Here is a little tip on something we did to answer a simple but annoying problem brought up by Harry Vordermier, thanks for the question-- sometimes you can't see the forest for the tree.  Without the questions, many times answers are never found.

OK, Harry had opened his glove box on his 78 Royale and the hold up wire broke, guess what happened, yep-- all the stuff in the glove box emptied right onto the passenger floor.  The 77 & 78 dash glove boxes are different than the metal earlier ones and it opens out completely.  He asked if I could repair the wire.  Than he mentioned that its a real pain to access the fuse box behind the glove box with the glove box in the way, said I sure with there were an easy way to move it out of the way when checking fuses.

VWALA!!!! I had a brain storm --- instead of screwing a wire to the dash and to the glove box again to limit its opening out, why not screw a strip of fuzzy velcro to the dash and stick a strip of loop velcro to the inside of the glove box.  Now, all thats needed to swing the glove box open to access the fuse panel is pulling apart the velcro strip   BRILLIANT!! And it didn't take any British beer to come up with the idea!  If you wanna do this on your coach, give me a call & I'll send you the velcro we used for $2-- what a deal!
