Glad to see you still dropping by…..many have switched to the Motorhome Rehab Ranch video schedule……..

?…….if you haven’t as yet gotten on the Patreon site, go to the bottom of this page….after a read of course…… That will take you directly to Motorhome Rehab Ranch on Patreon.  Patreon is sort of a video teaching and learning platform. I thank my son Ray for pushing me to set it up and John, my younger son, for helping me understand more of internet possibilities.  It seems that I am able to reach out to many more than I was able to do……its fun too.  We had 2 new videos posted this week….and there’s no fee…its free to all.

But other stuff…..no more 8am morning meeting….every morning…..for the rest of our lives…….. Jason gets the guys together when he’s got something to say……great concept!  And of course Eleganza wanders over where there’s a crowdWe have a new Onan shoehorning into the original cabinet…….a tight fit but most everything is available thru the service door…..smart.A MacDaddy dash is also going inand as youu can see, the firewall is cleaned down to removing the old AC/heat boxand here’s the stuff that came outlooks kinda like it sneezed and blew all that stuff out!  Don’t cough up a lung man…… Anyway, stay tuned for more on this project, the guys are crawlin all over it!

So yeah, the guys “got game” with the workload, in the Q and already apart, this one is next up

So here’s a theory and how I hope to test it out.

Since before COVID I have been meaning to trim out that cute little 3.2cf Frigidaire frig.  Like I said it’s cute, the only thing full sized are the handles and the logoHey but for a week’s use….there are just too many Taco Bells to get too deep in storing a turkey or 5 gallons of ice cream.  It’s not bad in thereand there’s dinner.

Problem is its AC only powered.  And another goodie is it needs a “pure since wave” inverter to run.  Good new though, annual constant use consumption is $67.  Hey, I’ve got an inverter…..but the first job is to build a cabinet and secure that red cub projectile if I were to have an accident.but you’ll have to tell the officer you didn’t see me coming!

So you can see that the galley is lit and ive got the frig and cabinet inThat’s nothing that crazy but you can notice that it’s not level to the floor.  It’s tilted back as you see it @ 3 degrees.  I made the cabinet to tilt at the middle to tilt level to a 3 degree slant.  WHY? You ask.  This a a tiny home frig.  It was made to stay in one place.  If it’s level to the floor, all the stuff inside can pile up at the door and basically move around in there.  Likewise anything place on the shelf above will usually end up in the floor.  With a tilt, im interested to see if stuff stays place in the frig and doesn’t fall off the shelf.  This idea would aso work flow drawers.

Let’s see.

Along with the galley counter purchased at Ikea, it’s made up an interesting galleyHere’s the Ikea cabinet stowedand here it is open showing the storageLook it up in their catalog.  It’s a 5′ wide setup which is the width of the original galley cabinet.  The level base and modifying the legs around the wheel well and furnace was fun but hey, if your at home in a restaurant kitchen…… you’re there!now I need to wire the frig cabinet, install the inverter for off grid use, light, monitor and generator control.. Stay tuned.

This is Wayyyyy too long….tell folks I still come here from time to time and put some stuff out……See on MRR…..
