This page lists coaches we know of that are for sale.   If you have a coach you want to sell, post us and we will include it here.  I think we will have to limit the ad size to 3 or 4 lines to accommodate the expected use.  We do not buy & sell coaches or charge commissions.  I do not want to be a "used ca r salesman"!  We are, though, committed to help you buy or sell your prized treasures and can be your eyes & ears in the sale!  This bulletin board for offered coaches is a free service to help the GMC community.

We do not require a fee or commission for listing coaches for sale here.  We do not sell coaches and do not make money to list them here, this is a FREE service offered to help those looking to buy or sell coaches.   In that, we are not responsible for any claims made on the condition or options included on coaches listed.  We are also not responsible to contact those that call us looking for coaches when they become available.  This is not our business, we are simply trying to help here.

NOTE:  I have had requests from some owners not to post their phone number or contact info - there have been some crack pots (shame on you) calling and messing with the owners - these folks are serious about offering their coach and do not wish to deal with tire kickers, salesmen or chiselers.  If you are truly interested in one of these coaches, please have the courtesy to not harass these good people.  A weird statement to make but it seems that it is necessary. 

Important note:  If you call someone about their coach and they say it has been sold, please ask them to call me and have me take it off this list.  If you sell your coach listed here, please do me the courtesy to let me know-- I really want to keep this page current and useable.  Please, I ask for nothing from your sale, just let me know your status to keep this page a useable asset for others.

Mechanical Review 

One of the most important things to do when looking to purchase a GMC is to investigate the overall mechanical condition of the coach BEFORE you make the purchase.  Sure these coaches have age and there will be many things you will probably need to do to the coach after the purchase to bring it up to your reliable condition but there are some issues you need to guard yourself from or at least know going in will need attention.  Go to Coach Evaluation for more on this.

Anyone who has been here at the shop knows we do not have room to store or stock coaches for sale, besides we would prefer to not get involved in coach sales but being at the same place for over 10 years, we end up having coaches here in need of a new home.  I have many people ask me if there are any coaches here at the shop for sale though and in that there are a few, they are always interested in whats here--- so to that end, click here to see a listing of machines here.  Not looking to take any "wind" out of other coaches here on the list for sale-- no, there are some really nice buys out there, please do not think just because a coach is here should not be a reason to look at these differently in any way. Here's the link on the lot

1973 GMC Canyonland rebuild.
$17500 includes extra engine, 3 final drives, airbag, numerous spares.

New paint, new windshields, rechromed bumpers, Alcoa's, new Michelin tires. Refurbished interior, leather seats, new Norcold fridge, new furnace, replaced hot water heater, new stove, new microwave, day/nite shades. 30,000 on overhauled 455, electric radiator fans, Springfield HEI, Kanomata 3.55 final drive. I don't suppose that it is a unique situation but I have had my GMC for so long that I have accumulated stuff that may appeal to the GMC enthusiast but not necessarily a general buyer. Stuff like an engine, final drives, engine hoist, holding tank, various bits and pieces. Anyway, you know so many people in the GMC community I thought I would pass on the fact that I am encouraging any offers for the coach, extra parts included.

I've found that a general buyer has little interest in extra parts and already I have been asked "what's a Wallace hub", "what's a Ragusa," and "who is JR Slaten?"

I don't want to throw all this stuff away but I need the space.

Later model Royale rear bath (Coachmen)   "We have decided to sell our GMC. The company that I ran for quite a few years and retired from is about to go belly-up and my retirement with it. Our revamped financial situation just won't support putting the old girl on the road anymore. :-(   As discussed with you earlier, we would like to get $60K for it. It's had about $120K put into it by Peter and us. It has seven new tires and loves to run...37,000 mis. since the total redo and 23,000 mis. since a "new" Koba motor. Since I replaced the f/i system with a new carburetor and a distributor the problems have gone away."  Can you make something from this -- again? I'm not good at writing ads and you did such a good job before. Also, we've decided to reduce the price to $49,900 and includes everything; e.g., Honda water cooled genset, automatic dish, full length awnings on both sides, MAC dash, real leather seats and J-sofa, etc.etc. -- way too much to list here!          Don

Ted, Yes, Bob's coach was actually the first total restoration I did here at the Co-op back in 1998, it brings back old memories and along with the recent "speed racer" coach I worked over yours and it were my roots.  Good to see it has been kept so well.  Hope whoever picks this up from you appreciates what it represents and keeps it up as well as you have-- thanks for the post and good luck,   Jim Bounds

26 ft 1975 GMC Eleganza. I don't want to part with it, but my fiance and I are having our first baby soon and I need money for the nursery more than I need my festival vehicle. Has an oldsmobile 454 big block engine with only 59,000 miles!!! Motor had 5k worth of work done a few years ago. Runs great! Needs new batteries, an oil change, and could probably use some TLC. Has a bathroom w/shower, stove/oven, fridge, microwave, queen-sized bed, table and benches. The rear window has a great 180 degree view. Sleeps 6 comfortably. The engine is in great shape, but the inside needs remodeling. Basically, it needs new carpet, new drapes, a new fridge, and a new toilet (old one leaks). Asking $7500 obo. We can work out payments.
