COACHES FOR SALE

PE02086A.gif (1977 bytes)

This page lists coaches we know of that are for sale.   If you have a coach you want to sell, post us and we will include it here.  I think we will have to limit the ad size to 3 or 4 lines to accommodate the expected use.  We do not buy & sell coaches or charge commissions.  I do not want to be a "used car salesman"!  We are, though, committed to help you buy or sell your prized treasures and can be your eyes & ears in the sale!  This bulletin board for offered coaches is a free service to help the GMC community.

This is a FREE for sale bulletin board

We do not require a fee or commission for listing coaches for sale here.  We do not sell coaches and do not make money to list them here, this is a FREE service offered to help those looking to buy or sell coaches.   In that, we are not responsible for any claims made on the condition or options included on coaches listed.  We are also not responsible to contact those that call us looking for coaches when they become available.  This is not our business, we are simply trying to help here.

NOTE:  I have had requests from some owners not to post their phone number or contact info - there have been some crack pots (shame on you) calling and messing with the owners - these folks are serious about offering their coach and do not wish to deal with tire kickers, salesmen or chiselers.  If you are truly interested in one of these coaches, please have the courtesy to not harass these good people.  A weird statement to make but it seems that it is necessary.

Important note:  If you call someone about their coach and they say it has been sold, please ask them to call me and have me take it off this list.  If you sell your coach listed here, please do me the courtesy to let me know-- I really want to keep this page current and useable.  Please, I ask for nothing from your sale, just let me know your status to keep this page a useable asset for others.

Mechanical Review

One of the most important things to do when looking to purchase a GMC is to investigate the overall mechanical condition of the coach BEFORE you make the purchase.  Sure these coaches have age and there will be many things you will probably need to do to the coach after the purchase to bring it up to your reliable condition but there are some issues you need to guard yourself from or at least know going in will need attention.  Go to Coach Evaluation for more on this.

Here's a conversation about what you should expect to pay for one of these classic beauties and what to expect out of it.  Go to Wazit Worth for  a read.

If you buy or sell a coach based on this page, please contact me so I can pass on your victory, and delete the ad

<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<Listings here are in no particular order>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Please let me know if any of these ads are old or coaches are sold so I can take the ad down

Coaches on the lot, let me show you a few coaches for sale "on the lot" here at the Co-op.  Hey, I've got to have SOME perk owning this business!  We do not normally have coaches here for sale, we have limited space and in that we take no commissions from sales cannot devote large chunks of space in storing for sale machines.  We've ended up with
a few though and there may be something here you could be interested in.  I am NOT a dealer, I do not buy or sell coaches, please remember this.  I will help you find a coach or sell one but I take no commissions from such a thing so -- it's not my fault!  Click here for more on these machines  on the lot

1976 GMC PALM BEACH Motorhome           This is a very rare White Palm Beach custom ordered from the factory. Extremely presentable original Imron paint with excellent green stripes. I purchased this coach, from the second owner, for a client who wanted to upgrade the clean original shag green and walnut interior to a modern look however due to health issues he could not complete the project. The coach is in fantastic mechanical condition with over $17,000.00 spent within the last 1000 miles. Too much to list. Call Andrew Fallon for all the details 401-524-2100. The coach is located in Rhode Island and delivery could be arranged. Sacrifice for $19,995.00. I currently have a Honda EV6010 generator (not installed) that I will include in the purchase price.

1976 "Hanuman Van"        Featured on our "gallery" page, take a look on how this unique coach came together. This special GMC was the personal travel quarters for Ma Jaya, the spiritual leader for the Kashi Ashram in Sebastian Florida     where they serviced the spiritual community for many decades.  I was proud to renovate and maintain this personal coach for Ma, as she was known.  The coach name came from the air brushed Hanuman figure "bringing the mountain to Mohammed".  The coach has a Koba 455 motor, Manny trans, quad air bag system, custom base/clear paint and a hand built interior to Ma's needs.  The coach has been maintain to service Ma's needs it's entire life and now needs a new master.  Much invested over the years, can be a nice coach for you.  Asking $28,000 call Bhagavati at 772-913-4017.  Namaste

1974 Painted Desert 26'
This is a PROJECT coach. The motor was rebuilt in 2001 but needs work. The rebuilt motor had less that 100 miles on it. This has been parked since 2007, it is not able to be driven.
The interior is gutted but much of the wall pieces and hardware for the sofa/bed and various other pieces are inside. The bathroom had been updated with a new toilet and is still intact but not installed. The muffler and exhaust system and new brakes with rotors were installed new about 2006 but was only used to drive to a parking spot.  There are a few new parts that can go with the coach with no price negotiating OR parts and coach can be sold separately. Most of you know the coach/frame has value for a remodel!

New parts: 2 Fantastic Vents; 2 large side mirrors slightly used: roof top air conditioner (not installed on the coach)
