Co-op 2.0 in the rain… NO PROBLEM!

Over the past 18 years, waking up to a rainy day meant no work done….  Having my rye toast this morning… dripping in butter and garli salt… Janie came in to say in sleepy eyes with a hug “it’s raining, I’m sorry” to which I was able to say…”No problem, we’re covered!”  Talking with John D. about coming over to help this weekend we laughed about having it rained out…. come on man, we’re inside and I outfitted myself in the standard Florida heavy weather gear to run the fork lift back and forth so bring it on Raining-Jim-2  Our security expert got locked in Hank’s shop caught in his chair so he wasn’t that happy when Hank let her out especially when she found out everything was wet! Calie-7

SSSHHHHHHHHhhhhhh, Manny is in the house but he’s still sleeping….  He flew in last evening after not only the flight from the west coast but also going to Oregon to install one of his transmissions for someone who felt they couldn’t get it done…. he doesn’t do that except when someone really doesn’t have anyone and does not posess the skills themselves so don’t ask him to do this please, Manny is too much of a treasure to the comunity.  Preserve his energies please…  But anyway he hadn’t slept for 2 days trying to get all the things done everyone wants before Christmas…. me too, we’ve been itching to do the documentation of the turbo-diesel installation and set up… that’s why he’s here now… what a guy!!  So he’s usually an early riser like me.. his last words last night after heate yet again another Double D burger at Beth’s Burger Bar was … Don’t wake me early! Manny-visit-4-1 So we’re here, counting rain drops, getting ready to … go over and do some work.  The AC in the “old office” went on the fritz so other than plunking to you guys there’s nothing to keep me here…. windows are open, humidity has to be near 200% .. it’s a lovely day in Florida….

Actually it is and it will be for us.  Manny’s here, John D. is coming to help, the guys are going nuts over the new digs and we have nothing but moving a GMC hoarder’s 18 years of accumulation 100 yards…. piece of cake?  If you’re in Orlando this weekend the party is here!  Bring old clothes, maybe some gloves and whatever liquid refreshment that suits the day.

I’m headed over to the new place, see ya later….
