(Updated below) Can we stick our heads out of the hole…….. Is it over?????

……..  I’m going to take a look, back me up……….. Ok, it’s 2022……..?I think it’s safe to come out……My beloved “homeless tool cart” has no need and has become a mobile junk pile.  Starting off a new year let me introduce you to “homeless cart 2.0″……Now that my work has moved out of the shop needing my tools with me to more office work, phone and video communications, I now need something like this.  A new year and a new use……… It’s going to be a good year.

It’s about time…….periodically, the screw wall needs to be reorganised, yep…..its going to be a good year……..

I’m off to the shop, I’ll get back with you later with a state of the Union to kick-off 2022.

Talk to you here later…………

(Update)

So, at the appointed 8am the guys started coming together…..a new year and the new focus……Jason and Robert gave their holiday to moving things throughout the shop, cleaning and getting things organised better.  I myself as you saw, am pulling out my 24 years of tools that have distressed into a pile of all the tools we never use!  I now need to get my OWN house in order.

I got the chance to drive Mutcedes around the block this morningover to lake Elezibeth and my “Covid dock”where during the shut down I would walk Eleganza over to the palate dock for a relaxed sundown.  The motor finally got up to temp…..the Ford F-150 radiator and the pipes running front to back keeps Mutcedes running almost too cool!

Anyway, it’s the small things that make things fun……..

The windshields go back in Lincoln’s coach this Wednesday that have already been coated with Llumar air 80 heat rejection filmWe had pulled them mainly to access the work needed on the dash.  Here’s where we are on the dash restoration and the install on another MacDaddy dashalso in this project is an all new steering column from Flaming River……..  Stay tuned and see how the dash trims out……….. Along with all of that we have some electrical rewiring…..and the suspension rebuild included the new Bourgeson double D steering shaft…..if your steering shaft is in bad shape give us a call, we can make one of these for you.

Gotta go for some parts…. I’ll be back here later……
